Annihilus cosmic rod removed by armor break ?

in Bugs and Known Issues
So I was playing arena, my OG spidey vs annihilus. I landed an armor break on him and noticed his rod was gone, text saying its mine, and 3 fury buffs on him. Checked the description and nothing about it.
Any idea ?

    I see. Armor break can remove armor but isnt it too far fetched to consider it an entire nullify mechanic?

    So if what you're saying is right, placing an armor champ on a node that reduces the chance to nullify by 90% should reduce the chance for them from getting armor break by 90% ? @Kabam Zibiit

    Armour break is a debuff so it will always apply unless the opponent is debuff/armour break immune or has aar ofc. On a node that has -90% chance to nullify, the armour break will still apply just that if there's is an armour up buff present on the enemy it will have -90% chance to be removed. At least that's what I think
