Shouldn’t she be able to evade his SP1 when it’s unblockable? She evades the first 2 hits but gets wrecked by the last few.

    She only has 1 charge. She needs 3 I believe to fully evade unblockable

    That’s against basic attacks. Unblockable gains +%550 evade chance.

    Yes, but each charge is 7%. 550% of 7 is 38.5%

    I don’t believe that the unblockable evade is affected by charges. It doesn’t say it anyway.

    To explain the math behind this, spidergwen has a 7% chance per charge to evade any attack, and this chance increases by 550% (38.5% chance) when the attack is an unblockable special attack hit. So she needs 3 charges to have a 100% chance (really 115.5% chance) to evade an unblockable special attack.

    It says 550% evade ability accuracy. Not 550% evade chance. It increases the evade ability by 550% which at base is 7%.

    Yeah but 100% AA + 550% AA gets you the multiplier 6.5
    It’s 100% chance for the 550% to trigger. It’s not added onto the 550%.

    There are 2 things. The actual proc rate of an ability and the ability accuracy of the ability. At base usually it is 100%.

    Spidergwen at 1 charge has a 100% chance to evade attacks 7% of the time. Now , the +550% is added to the 100%. So now she has 650% chance to evade 7% of the time which results in a 6.5* 7% chance to evade.

    At 3 charges this adds up to 136% chance to evade which makes it guaranteed

    Hey there, just to confirm what some here have mentioned, the bonus she gets to her Evade Ability Accuracy against Unblockable Special Attacks is a multiplier to her Evade Ability Accuracy, rather than a flat increase. So, barring anything else increasing or decreasing her ability accuracy or outright preventing Evade, she'll need 3 Spider-Sense Charges to be able to guarantee an Evasion against Unblockable Special Attacks.

    This is part of the reason she starts the fight with 3 Charges when fighting Superior Class opponents, so that she doesn't have to worry about ramping up against them quite as much. This is also a reason to be considerate about where you use her Gwenom Rising synergy. I personally love it in many places for the extra punch it gives her, but if I'm bringing her to the quest specifically to deal with Ublockable specials, I may opt for a different synergy, since it lowers her Evade Ability Accuracy.
