They've front loaded some of the milestones so those with less units can still get some good stuff. It's intentional. For anybody maxing the realm event it doesn't matter as you'll get all the rewards regardless.

Think of it as two sets of rewards. The first set ends at the key and the next set starts from the milestone after.

I pulled Valkyrie and X-23, then I got lucky and pulled a key from a jubilant crystal (which got me Nimrod.) One more free key to go.

That's a tough choice. I have Nick at R3 awaken and I use him all the time. I would love a FAM as a 7 star. If I had a choice I would say Nick since there are more tech champs I already have that I would rank up compare to skill. I would say check your tech and skill roster and see if Nick or FAM would be better to your current roster.

Yes, the game opens crystals one at a time, even if you open in batches. It has to, because each crystal has independent random odds. There’s no way to short cut the process and jump directly to what ten crystals should drop all at once, except by rolling them one at a time. So the game servers roll them individually, add the results together, and then display that to the player. But under the hood, the game knows which crystal if any generated a Jubilant dro, and therefore what the streak counter should display afterwards.
