Following this announcement, there is no hope to see any changes for this month EQ, right?

I believe this is the first month in more than 10 years that I'll skip EQ (used to be my favorite game mode until now)

crucible type of quest, but harder, no regen on switch, lock to specific class, without option to "practice" the bosses on easier difficulty before you get stuck, and for less rewards than what we had before.

Only reason I don't "push" in AQ is because it is tie to prestige, and now you tie this too…

Funny how their only takeaway from this whole situation is how the whole thing feels like a massive slog because of the hps but not the fact that 1. Even with smaller hps it's still a **** concept and they should've just kept Valiant Gauntlet as it was and 2. The rich continue to get richer because of rewards scaling with prestige and the ceiling not being as low as it should've been for the top rewards.

Passion and dedication is a very nice PR way of describing anger and disappointment...

Stop putting lipstick on this pig of consistent F Ups and own it. I would love to keep on saying that I don't like the direction the game is going; truth is there is no direction. Everything is all over the place at the moment.

nefaria. Many say that The dupe isn’t actually necessary which is understandable but it takes him to a whole new level and makes him one of the most survivable champs in the game, up there with arnim Zola. The regen from it is pretty huge so I don’t see why not

Nefaria really doesn't need the dupe. Like in most matchups, it won't really come into effect. The extra healing is nice, but its not really going to change much. Photon's dupe makes her an immediately better champ on offense and defense, not by much, but enough. I'd go photon.

I have both awakened and at the R4 seven star level. I hate to be this guy, but both are at the top of their class and I recommend you take them both up eventually.

It really depends on what you need. Do you need a defender? Photon is the answer, and dump some stones into her so she will be an even better defender.

Nefaria is probably the most versatile attacker in the game. He answers a lot of defender threats and in a fair bit of matchups, hits like a truck. However, he’s not the best in BGs. But if you don’t care about that as much, I can’t recommend him enough. He is probably my favorite character to play in the game. And in a pinch, he can be a tricky defender, but that’s pretty niche

TLDR: They are both incredible. Need a defender: Photon. Need an attacker: Nefaria

I think he's been extremely overhyped honestly. Yes, he can do Yelena extremely well but what else is he realistically good for? Korg? Onslaught, Jean, Dazzler, Negasonic all easier to use and just as effective. Bullseye? Gentle, Onslaught, Sinister, Negasonic all just as effective too. Even against Yelena, we already have DPX, Onslaught, Sinister, Jean and soon Cassandra.

I think he's definitely a good champ but nothing insane, he's kind of a one trick pony destined to be the mutant Patriot imo, nothing else.

It's amazing how there just doesn't seem to be understanding or critical listening on the part of the game team about how awful this EQ change was - it's simple, change it back to the previous version and move forward with fixing other more pressing issues (i.e. AI, and recent bugs). Why change something that was working???
