Re: New daily quest energy consumption
I’ll start by saying I’m not FTP, I’ve spent plenty real life currency playing this game. I don’t like having to spend money to PLAY the game. I play bgs mostly and I’ve run out of energy! I don’t want to have to BUY energy. This equals less time actually playing the game for me. I understand this game is a business, but they’re about to lose a lot of my time investment with this energy reduction. They’re counting on our “addiction” to play this game and I think everyone will feel the pinch soon if they continue to play at a similar rate
Re: War rating did not increase after 1 win
war ratings are frozen for the rest of the season due to current state of the game
QoL improvement

With Everest difficulty of the Elder EQ, why can I not run Daily quests while taking a break from EQ? I believe you could do daily quests while playing crucible events. This would be a quailty of life improvemnet, if you continue to give us these brutal EQs
Re: CHAMPION PRESTIGE IS A BLACK BOX OPERATION
I completely agree that keeping prestige such a central stat but at the same time treating it like a “black box” only creates frustration and confusion. Transparency should be the minimum standard, if players are meant to chase prestige, then at least show us exactly how it’s calculated, what values each champ brings, and how it impacts progression. Right now, it feels less like strategy and more like gambling.
I also would like to suggest to replace prestige with a skill-based progression path. A scalable challenge where players push as far as they can, and their maximum EQ level is based on that performance, would reward actual gameplay and not just wallets. Being able to step back and experiment would also encourage to play more instead of forcing people into a single meta.
Even if it’s not simple to implement, this kind of adaptive system would feel fairer and more rewarding. At the end of the day, players want to feel that their effort, knowledge, and skill matter as much as, if not more than, their credit card.
Re: Adaptive not so Adaptive, comparing 2 different prestige
It seems like Adaptive refers to players adapting to the difficulty, not the difficulty adapting to the players LOL
Re: Any reward package for players who completed this month’s absurd EQ?
(If it was the case they were going to compensate),..they would be better off to give everyone EQ rewards in line with last months and matched with ones progression.
Don’t think it would go over very well if just because some folks “did it”, that they would get double rewards…considering kabams mistake cost everyone who usually does EQ a month worth of rewards.
Re: Any reward package for players who completed this month’s absurd EQ?
You missed the entire point.
I said there were choices for both parties.
If you choose to do Elder, you get rewards.
If you choose not to do Elder, you don't get rewards.
No one is forcing either choice on anyone.
There is no valid argument for compensation here on a voluntary choice.
I am all for the calls for compensation over things that effect the community as a whole and things that are out of our control (therefore not being optional).
I am all for compensation for things that effect individuals or small groups of players, like when crystals don't have the right drop rates, because no one chose to have those things happen.
But to ask for compensation because someone chose to do this absurd EQ because they see the "rewards as part of their own reward budget each month" is one of the most delusional and entitled things I have read on this forum and that says a lot.
Re: Any reward package for players who completed this month’s absurd EQ?
I just want to make sure I understand this correctly.
You want compensation for something you voluntarily chose to do. You made the conscious decision to undertake Elder difficulty, knowing how hard it would be. When it proved to be even worse than you thought, you still chose to push forward and finish, and want Kabam to compensate you for your choice.
We struggle as a community sometimes to get compensation for things that effect everyone as a whole and that we have no choice in (looking at the July general comp that never came) but you, the individual who made a choice to do optional content that widely agreed to be way off the mark too hard, you want compensation for your choice.
I think your compensation is you will get rewards this month the rest of us won't because we chose not to undertake such a crazy punishment of this iteration of the EQ.
Re: 1 Energy Refill a month… thanks Kabam!
it’s a dumb move to remove those refills. 3 per week is barely 90 units. I doubt they did it hoping to make a lot of money. But the way the game is going, it was a terribly shortsighted move. People will just stop playing once they run out of energy rather than think about spending units on energy refills. It’s just a move which will backfire on them big time.
