I don't why some people look up to content creators like the creator is their Dad or something.

They're just random dudes who are trying to hustle for views in a very hostile and competitive youtube space.

I've stopped watching several CCs when I realized they were clowns; they can do their thing and I can watch and support other people I like. No sweat.

And it's not like they're making any significant money anyway.

Like Trap said, you need to spend $4k a year on MCOC sales now, but his youtube channel didn't even bring anything close to that much money in a year.

compensation should be at least be how many crystals you opened, 1,5,10…

I'm going to put my tinfoil hat on and say that they went with the discount bandwith package. They don't want us having so much screentime for that reason, so they took away the energy.
