Re: At a loss with the summoner fest event
I dont particularly care about the radiance in the objectives, and I'm not alone. If you want the radiance you won't camp...So they put points in the "Win X Matches" objectives, which will result in those same people camping?Maybe its because they analyzed data and figured out some people were being scumbags farming the VT for points and didn't want that anymore.Last year's Battlegrounds Realm Event was absolutely nothing like this Realm Event. I placed top 4 overall without spending a single penny.Nothing new really for realm events. Banquet was the exact same.I'm sorry but if there's NO way you can place #1 without having to spend, it's called a PAY TO WIN event. They are unobtainable even if you do pay, unless you also basically do everything. Normally the term pay to win refers to games where either whomever pays the most wins, or spending offers an overwhelming advantage compared to everything else. But that's not really true here, except in an essentially unrealistic extreme. Spending offers an advantage between two players who otherwise are tied in all other respects, but having an advantage between two competitors who otherwise do exactly the same things equally well is not pay to win, that is literally all competitions. There are ranked rewards, which will be unobtainable unless you payI wouldn't call it pay to win. Sure, spending could be a tie breaker for points, but if you don't do everything, especially Raids, no amount of spending is going to catch you up.There are 300,000 total earnable points, so yes you can reach the top milestone, even if you miss a few.Why do you make everything p2w?
Well, technically speaking $24,000 USD might catch you up. But even among the mega whales I suspect the number of people who will actually do that is very close to zero.
Since about a third of the realm points are in Raids, and my alliance doesn't do raids (much less Nightmare Raids which seems to be required to cap out the milestones) I'm basically out of it. But the event is still giving me a ton of rewards for basically just playing the game more or less as I normally do, so I can't be too upset. I find it ... odd that there's so much emphasis on Raids given their presumptive optional nature - and the fact they are tied to alliances, meaning individual players cannot simply choose to do them just for the event - but I suppose Kabam has its reasons there.
I would call that pay to win
Spenders had an advantage which was being able to purchase Units in order to buy elders BUT they still had to play the game AND win BG matches in order to rack up points.
This "Summoner Fest" is an absolute joke towards competition, it's a PAY to WIN event.
I won't be camping, but there definitely will be some that do.

Re: Last chance to tune up the rewards
Is there supposed to be an ultimatum here?
It's the max points that lower level summoners can achieve, so it makes sense. Should it still be a progression based selector? Probably, but we can also just get over it and move on. Better rewards await.

Re: Last chance to tune up the rewards
They can't change rewards once they've been claimed, the most they could do is add milestones but the top top rewards are all good i don't know what you're expecting them to add
Re: How is this not the suited up in the recruitment event?
7,8,9,10,14 or 7,8,9,10, 1... That's why

Re: Enough is Enough – Card RNG in the July Fantastic Force Is a Rigged Scam!
If you did enough critical thinking the outcome would be "Its luck" you are searching for an answer to explain why you are not winning. Its 2 different thingsCalling someone a gambling addict just because they question game fairness is unfair and dismissive.Rigged or not its playing with you emotion more than anything else with a great payout of a title and banner, and you are playing along, which is exactly why I called you a gambling addict. While your math is technically correct for true random hands in poker, it doesn't translate directly to how RNG works in video games. And a coin can't be rigged by a developer, but RNG can. There is 2,598,960 possible combinations of 5 card hands in a 52 deck poker game (Googled, no I don't remember this number by heart). You are trying to hit 1 out of 4 hands from that number. 1 in 649,740 chance that resets every time you play... It is not rigged you just haven't been lucky.Sabi, 900k points and still feeling like the game’s rigged is exactly why some players question the fairness of the systems.Oh that's for sure rofl, 900k points while being unlucky in a "rigged" game mode is insane lolThat's fair, but OP still doesn't seem to understand the concept of RNG and luck. 😬I am just basing this on the real video poker machine and not MCoC's version. People use the mathematical chance with real cards and forget that Video Poker is actually rigged. People think its rigged to make people lose; but its actually rigged to have an RTP (return to player) payout. The RTP is decided by the local gaming commission. Real poker has no RTP.Fair point, but the odds are still similar, even if not quite as tough to hit a royal.Professional poker player and one of the best on the planet, Daniel Negreanu had never had a royal flush in his lifetime of playing poker. As much as you are right, this is not Poker. It's MCoC's version of video poker, and royal flushes are a lot more common in video poker
Do you know how many hands of poker that man has played?
It isn't rigged, that's not how it works.
The odds are still tiny, regardless.
Doubt this silly game mode went thru all the trouble of calculating RTP and all that.. so its pure luck 🤣
Anyway, I can't prove it's rigged, and maybe just like you said I haven't been unlucky.
But here's the thing, we also can't prove it's rigged or not.
I’ll still play the game,so just let it go.
If it really was rigged, what would be the purpose of giving Royal flushes to TBs or UCs?
Players invest time and effort not just for “emotion” or “titles,” but because we want a fair chance to enjoy the game and be rewarded for the skill and dedication.
Questioning the system is rigged isn’t gambling addict — it’s critical thinking.
They got you with FOMO, there is absolutely no skill other than knowing basic poker rules in this game mode
Re: At a loss with the summoner fest event
I don't think a f2p who has spent 8 hours a day grinding units in all forms since day 1 of the game, and hoarded all those units, would even be able to be close for first place. $140k USD is roughly 5 million units if you are buying namors in the webstore.Nothing new really for realm events. I would call that pay to winYeah, it is almost certain that a whale will rank first on that one too, however any f2p can try to compete for that spot (again, it is extremely unlikely that a f2p will get it, but the possibility is there)that's always been the case, even arena. you can get everything for free or pay a bunch of money to buy some time and convenience.I'm sorry but if there's NO way you can place #1 without having to spend, it's called a PAY TO WIN event. They are unobtainable even if you do pay, unless you also basically do everything. next week's poker game mode or whatever is going to be the same thing.
In this one you have a cap on points, meaning the only way to rank 1 is spending money
So while a f2p could technically compete, they never had a chance. I imagine some mega whales might use this event as a chance to stockpile units for Banquet so they can double dip the events with only paying money here.

What a strange way to launch an ultimatum 😂😂
Last chance to tune up the rewards
Kabam, now that the players are reaching the next steps in the summoner fest realm event, it s your last chance to tune up the rewards.
So many points to have a 6 star nexus? Also the emotes and the ability stones are a shame
Please, kabam
