If he wasn't going to have a mechanic to make up for not critting, why does he have a crit rating and a crit damage rating that are more than the minimum?His basic damage is terrible. Every other champ that doesn't crit has something to make a difference there.The worst is that they won't buff him even after he goes to the base pool,even if they annouce it will take months to happen
I tried Solvarch r3 in the common bad matchup of Winter Soldier and compared him against Guardian r3, G2099 r1, FalCap r1, Jack r4, and Prowler r1.
I didn't have all year, so I just compared Mediums.
Solv - 1854
Jack - 2633
Guardian - 1960
G2099 - 1412 at no combo
Prowler - 1183
The others all do something useful to make up for not critting, and Solvarch has his weak Coldsnap. I can get a semi-cooperative Winter Soldier down in less than 90 seconds with r3 Solvarch doing Parry, MM to 3 "bars", GG striker, SP1, SP3. Cleanup. I'm sure there's something optimal after the SP3, but I don't know what it is, so the Cleanup could be optimized to take off more time. Not super impressive, but it is a terrible matchup.
It was just give Shocker Mechanic and make the crit rating boost your attack rating ,there would still be some problems but damage wise this could have helped and kept consistency between Non crit techs

Not really the Everest content I was thinking of, but sure I guess?Bro is on a milk carton. He will probably shine in some Everest content at some point but there’s nothing for him to do in regular game modes.I used my 5* to do 80's mutants carina challnge.
He did great.
Don't have him as 7* tho.

I think the constant need of intercepting jittery funky goofy out of control AI might be somewhat responsible for it,

Fell off a little bit. Still at the top in terms of damage which everyone knows is the best metric.
