Re: 🔥1st World Gho Gho Gho Ghost Rider's Mcoc Meeting🔥
🔥 Yes!Here's something to get the discussion started, Peixe; from my main rework thread, https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/328552/complete-buff-designs-for-classic-champions/p1🔥 Awesome
This is a mild to moderate Tune-up, rather than a full rework; so Ghost Rider's primary mechanics aren't really changed. He continues to be based around inflicting Judgements on his opponent, which progressively weaken the opponent, and strengthen subsequent judgements.
Ghost Rider
Health 54876
Attack 4061
Passive
A bloodless skeleton wreathed in Hellfire, Ghost rider is immune to Bleed and Incinerate effects; and Poison effects from non-Mystical opponents suffer -70% Potency.
Bane of Evil
Against #Villain opponents, Ghost Rider gains +15% to his Attack, Armour and Critical rating.
#Villain opponents passively suffer -10% Critical rate and Attack rating for each Judgement upon them.
Against #Hero opponents, all Judgements apart from the Judgment of Guilt suffer -15% Ability accuracy (most heroes feel guilty about something...)
Judgements
Ghost Riders judgements are triggered by certain actions or combos. Judgements last indefinitely when placed, but can only be placed once. When a judgment is first placed, Ghost Rider inflicts a secondary effect (Fury, Degeneration, etc) that gains +75% duration for each Judgement already in effect when it is placed.
The list of Ghost Rider's Judgments, and their secondary effects is:Special Attacks
- Complete MLLLL combo: Judgment of Spite - Inflict a Degeneration passive causing 5969 damage over 3 seconds.
- Complete MLLLM combo: Judgement of Corruption - Gain a Fury passive, +4466 Attack for 9 seconds
- Heavy attack: Judgment of Malice - gain a Lifesteal passive, enabling Ghost Rider to Steal 1371 Health on each Attack. Ghost Riders Lifesteal only works against the living, and will not generate health against #Robots.
- Hit opponent with Special-1 Attack: Judgment of Pride - Inflict a Fate Seal passive for 6 seconds.
- Hit opponent with Special-2 Attack: Judgment of Anger - Inflict power drain passive removing 20% of the opponent's Maximum Power over 2 seconds. If the opponent is immune to Power Drain, inflict a 120% Wither passive, instead.
- Hit opponent with Special-3 Attack: Judgment of Guilt - Ghost Rider's Penance state inflicts a Damnation passive upon the opponent for 5 seconds. Damnation causes 2464 damage, and also inflicts Fate Seal, Heal Block and Power Lock.
When Damnation ends, remove all Judgements from the opponent. This does not remove any active secondary effects.
SP1 - Inflict Judgment of Pride.
If this Judgment is already active, instead Nullify one buff for each two Judgments on the opponent (rounded up).
SP2 - Inflict Judgment of Anger.
Additionally, inflict Incinerate for 5228 damage over five seconds. Incinerate Potency increases by +25% for each Judgement currently active on the opponent.
SP3 - Inflict Judgment of Guilt. This attack additionally refreshes any other secondary effects that are in place when it is activated.
Signature ability:
At the start of the fight, activate Judgment of Cruelty. As a secondary effect, this judgment grants a Power Gain passive for 12 seconds, generating 3% of a bar of Power per second.
Additionally, each Judgement placed on the opponent increases Ghost Rider's Offensive combat power rate by 12%.
So, this Tune-up would provide Ghost Rider with the reliability he currently lacks (his judgements have a pretty significant failure rate, right now); his debuffs are all replaced with passives; he switches out Bleed for Degeneration (which will go nicely with the Ghost Rider relic...), gets Wither to manage any cosmic opponents immune to Power Drain, and a fairly hefty Incinerate on his SP2. And that extra Judgment in his Sig should be quite a significant boost to getting his rotation started in shorter fights.
But it's still a Tune-up rather than a full rework - what do people think? And what else would people like to see?
Best Champ kit design.
Guys, so, lets coordinate our moves.
- I will focus to gather people here on forums with someone else
- We need one for Discord chat
- Twitter/X
- Global Chat (I feel sorry to someone be there to call for Blaze 🔥)
- Lets use 🔥 on every thread or social network from now on, as a sign that we support Ghost Rider
For now, this is ok, later we talk about our finnances
Finances?! Dude, don’t think that maybe, just maybe, you’re taking this a little too seriously?
Grass is outside. Feel free to touch it.

Re: Why you should vote for Loki
His sp2 % damage is only available with synergy and capped with a fixed number, which is lame. It's super easy to make Loki decent — make sp3 debuff longer, pause it on all sps, make sp2 do x% more damage with that debuff active (maybe as part of sig). Maybe add 1-2 phase charge with sig on sp3 debuff (re)apply and move current sig into basic kit. All these changes could be done with him just being released as a new 7* without reworkIt's bold of you to assume Kabam would buff Loki and leave his buff stealing mechanic as it is currently. I honestly think it would be way over powered and they would have to nerf it if Loki was a good champ. I'm using all of my votes for Ghost Rider and I'm going to be super disappointed if the community doesn't select him as well. The same argument against Loki could be used for Ghost Rider as well. People are looking at Ghost Rider (a pretty good champion, just needing a minor improvement) and just thinking of he'll turn into a CGR/Nico level mashup.
Based on Kabam's historic behavior for Reworks, they usually miss the mark when a champion is already decent to good (and Ghost Rider is a pretty good champion, just a little clunky and underpowered), but deliver when it is a pretty basic champion (like Cyclops, who had nothing going for him in the original kit). For example, in the Guillotine vs Antman argument, Guillotine won and got reworked into a champion that wasn't that much different. Comparatively, even though Antman's buff ended up average, his kit is still vastly more interesting than it originally was.
Buff Stealing is not any more OP than Buff Immunity. I can see Kabam adding some restrictions (maybe stack limits). His SP2 damage as a percentage of Max health is arguably more powerful, so I could see Kabam changing it so the damage level interacts with the amount of buffs stolen.
He's already a better champ then gr, just try fighting maxed 7* serpent with 4* Loki and gr. Ghost rider needs a lot more changes to be playable with bg focus game shifted to. And I'm not sure if gr would end up a good champ
Now winter soldier could end up as a good skill attacker I personally need, and he deserves it the most for sure

Re: Why you should vote for Loki
I have him r5a s200, he definitely needs some justice. Vote Loki 🗣️🔥🔥
Re: Why you should vote for Loki
Definitely voting for Loki. Maybe he could also steal passives instead of buffs. I do like ghost rider but we've already got CGR and Kushala. They're both mystic but with Loki we'll probably get an improved version of his buff steal and more unique utility
Re: Why you should vote for Loki
Great write up, I’ll give you that, but I love ghost rider way too much to not vote for him. Loki would be a great rework, but I can’t pass up the opportunity to get one of my favorite champs reworked

Livestream feedback
Mike did a great solo job and covered a huge amount of content yesterday. So many tasty morsels to digest. Im personally loving the new game modes, variety being the spice. My repetitive stress thumbs are loving the auto play in the arcade mode.
Hyped for August with a lot of fun stuff coming and I cannot wait to see how all the updated rebirth champs perform especially Sabretooth and Cull.
Really looking forward to the act6 changes, and im intrigued with the tuned daily solo and alliance events.
Sooooo much cool stuff to look forward to. Great job @Karatemike415

Re: Those waiting Solvarch, your toughts at the moment after the stream
Its a negligible amount that will be able to get it f2p, and you.need to have a big roster to compete that high in BGs.You do realize that there are 45 essence available without spending anything, and 8 of them don't even require any form of competitive play at all.By the time hes in the basic pool , his kit will be outdated and we'll get several techs that do what he does better.Could care less since its a p2w champP2W the 7* version and after sometime all the Eidols will go for the base crystal pool
Eidols were a complete miss imo since f2p cant get them at all.
To say that f2p players can not get them at all is simply not true.

Re: Rebirth Champs Thank you Kabam!
I know he's always been a war attacked but I'd love to be able to use him in BGs as well it's just that his ramp sucks. We'll see how good he is he is one of the very few champs with stagger and that's been something very useful lately with all the heavy buff metas.Cull and Sabretooth already look so good on paper, if Voodoo's turns out fine as well then yes this is a massive W. Then depending on how good Night Thrasher's damage is he could be very good for Spider Woman and MODOK who's about to become cancer of mcoc after that buff to his autoblock, and if that is the case then the only meh champs in there will be Viv and AV (I know nothing about AV so I could be wrong).Agent venom is supposed to shine in war not bgs with his immunities and I think he's fine with the buff.
Similarly NT is good with what he's supposed to be good. I think he can counter the new annoying science autoblockere quite well.
Others good as well, except voodoo. Voodoo had a lot of potential for a buff and all they did was changing his sp2 into something sus. No alternate buff controls except nullify is a huge L and poison dependence significantly reduce the number of matches he can take I really love voodoo but I have no idea what kind of matchups he can take except DP.
Yeah NY could potentially be great against the three new strong science defenders we're getting, not that High Evo absolutely needs a counter but he'll make the fight quicker, MODOK and Spider Woman tho different story I consider both 4.5/5.
I do agree Voodoo's seems disappointing but part of me refuses to believe they would absolutely ruin it like this knowing he's easily the one that holds the largest amount of nostalgia out of all of them so I want to wait and actually play test to see how good that sp2 power steal is for non buff heavy matchups cause yeah for now it seems he really will only be useful for DP and Serpent which don't get me wrong is great, but Spiral already exists for that purpose so it's kinda dumb.
