We have no hopes for mid falcon then. Pretty sure they increase his slow duration by 3 seconds and trauma potency by 5% and call it a day.

Why not? Isophyne is in basic crystals besides the 7*.Thats not a problem i just din't expect them to be working on it already

Was there a reason though for the change, we had a champ released, 3 months later the balance info came out, then about 2 months later the champ was adjusted.. that seemed to work well.. I'm a huge fan of, if it's not broke, don't fix it..
We posted about the shift to Batch Updates a few months ago. There are various reasons why we shifted to Batch releases instead of the old system - one of them being, it does give us more time for full review where we can make sure if a Champion needs a tune up they get one.
At the end of the day, Patriot was already doing what he was supposed to do.
The "disagree" count on the video I linked doesn't change the fact that Patriot can perform.
It's totally fine to not like him, I don't personally enjoy using him - and I will never sit here and try to convince you to use a Champion you don't vibe with - but he's been obliterating higher-ranked Photons in 40 seconds in Battlegrounds since he was released.
After the buff, he'll be doing it even faster and easier.
It isn't about "waiting" to release his buff, it's about having an orderly process that allows the team to do their best work without having to crunch to unrealistic timelines.
And yes, his 1 target match up, he's brilliant for, I think the community may have been hoping for his reach to be a bit better than 1 champ, ie high evolutionary

As right as you are, and I don't dispute that... It's actually nothing for near 8 months worth of wait and anticipation. look at spiderpunk, the slight changes they made, made a huge difference and impact and credit to the balance team for thatpatriot, ide still be surprised to see him in decks in mid to high level bgs (yes I have BGs brain rot in this instance) or in war attack for that matter.It fixes most of his biggest issues, what were you expecting them to change?I do joke, but in truth, I have tried to love Patriot for such a long time(due to photon being my pet hate to fight), and I've anticipated this buff for a loooooong time... And it seems sooooooo lack luster.. and 7 months for a balne, nearly one year since patriots release, really seems excessiveBack to Patriot Change ( I won't say buff, as it isn't).....Y'all are funny, let's just conveniently ignore the other 8 buffs that went out this month

Yondu is kinda heat now
R4 unascended 6* Yondu, no boosts, synergies, or relic.
Sub minute for 550k damage is not bad at all. The Ruptures being a 100% chance to trigger instead of the old 40% chance for Bleed is a massively understated buff to both his damage, power control, and utility, you can very easily maintain around 5 Ruptures. Being able to just throw combos into a passive opponentβs block and guarantee 2 Ruptures is also nice.

TBF to mike he's doing his best here, and you can't fault how he's been doing things lately.. but yeah, I think this is quite the Flop this whole balance batch thing, and how little ever gets buffed or nerfed
The whole thing needs to change, there's no reason why we have to wait nearly a full pregnancy term for a numbers adjust from a balance update.. my daughter was born after 8 months of pregnancy, she came a month early, still faster than the patriot numbers change π

As someone who used patriot before his buff and took him to r4, the buff makes him much better outside of his targeted matchups. He has great damage, a pretty easy rotation to do, and he has a lot of survivability with constant willpower. The extended heavy is also nice, but it is very satisfying to learn to react to the opponent's dash attack and counter with your heavy. Very safe to do it that way. The larger damage numbers are also very fun to see too. Overall, it is a great buff if you enjoy patriot.
