These posts are always well and good, but if you don’t pull anything of value once in a while it sours a major opening like this event even further.
Hoarding units all year to do a massive opening and getting very little that will further your account just pushes people further away.
The one positive that came out of this entire event is the extra 100 sig stones from the alpha shard jubilant crystal. That is really the only thing I am looking forward to.

Congrats to you! Wish I had the same experience. It’s always fun opening the crystals but I definitely didn’t have the RNGods on my side today.

Responding to that feedback alone got me even more excited for this event, and I’ve loved the event so far. My alliance and I were all in a call opening crystals at the start of the event

I lost count of how much stuff and new champs i got while opening crystals: basic nexuses, titans, Agems, cats, etc etc.
If you accumulate all the rewards combined crystals, milestone rewards and ranked rewards you will notice how crazy the value vs Units spend is.
The milestone rewards are amazing too.
I Got scoprion from the Box.
The only thing that would make excel this for me even further, would be getting that Hulkling from my last key.
But anyhow this event is a massive W in my opinion.

Folks are gonna share their opinion and thats okay. Seen a ton of excited posts of people happy with what they've pulled. Other folks are less satisfied with what they got. With RNG involved thats the way its gonna go some of the time, but hopefully the systems in place this year have helped to mitigate more of the feels bad moments. Shoutout again to Crashed and the team for getting that extra 100 Sigs with the T5a pulls at the last minute based on feedback.

cant remember a time we didn't get a calendar with like 6 sgc on it. Since even the GGC days

1000% weapon x deserves it before x23. She’s not a dual threat by any stretch and weapon x is a nuke for most fights.
& maybe most rationally, you’ll be able to awaken X23 in time organically, there’s no telling if you’ll ever dupe WeaponX that way
