This has to be a conscious decision to alienate your player base.
I find it impossible to believe you were unaware of the huge negative sentiment your recent decisions would get.
1 adaptive EQ - was truly horrendous, overtuned beyond belief. You thought this would be fun for your players?
2 take away energy refills - seriously you took away the means people play the game. Are you kidding?
3 nerf spider woman - nerf a champion randomly that doesn’t need rebalancing, whilst not touching others that are obviously broken.
4 repeatedly releasing bugged content, game down time, broken AI, server lag
this has to be deliberate
Surely after 10 years the company can not be this tone deaf.
So the question is why?

Bud it’s quite literally impossible to find any mods comments now without literally reading every comment on every post while scanning for their usernames. So it’s on them that no one knows this. And yes it is on them the forums are screwed up. I don’t care who they outsource it to, they choose who to work with and they are ultimately responsible for their own forums. Outsourcing something doesn’t automatically resolve you of all blame if that thing completely fails. Absolutely clown world that the forums have been like this for what, 2 months now?

The most important buff needed was for gentle who still lacks damage after I ranked 3 him and he's sig 60 he is still PATHETIC and you guys chose to ignore all that as he is. But you literally disturbing a somewhat easier defender then all 3 i mentioned above like spiderwomen when nobody in the community spoke about it. You guys did it IM OFFICIALLY NOT SPENDING a dime!! On this game that I do here and there. U guys can give r5 material in next sale not a doller from me. It wouldn't matter but in the same way I don't care if your company gets closed or not anymore.
P.S.- i have r4 SIG 200 SPIDERWOMEN AND YOU GUYS nerfed her FOR NO REASON.

I am not an attorney, but I have been studying these legal issues for a very long time. Probably longer than you’ve been playing online games. You’re not going to find very many lawsuits of the type you’re suggesting, and virtually none of them win. The ones you do find where there was a judgment in favor of the plaintiff were decided on completely different technical grounds. The idea that you could sue based on Kabam changing the properties of a champion you purchased is going to fail on several grounds:
- You do not buy champs. You buy crystals. You buy bundles. You do not buy champs. You don’t own champs. You only purchase the right to use things in the game. Kabam reserves the right to change things, or even delete them completely from the game. Kabam could shut the game down tomorrow and you would have no legal recourse to get your money back.
- Champs have no monetary value. You’re not allowed to sell or trade them or exchange them in any way for material value. Doing so is against the TOS of the game. As a result, even if you could argue that Kabam changed something you “bought” you couldn’t assert monetary damages. The TOS forbids you from doing so.
- You can’t argue that the TOS is invalid or you do not accept its terms. If you choose not to accept the terms set forth in the TOS, you are required to stop playing the game. Playing the game while deliberately refusing to accept the TOS means you are playing the game without permission. This would be an admission of theft of service. This is not a winning strategy in a court of law.
In the US especially, you can sue over anything, and anything is possible. However, any good attorney would advise you the odds of winning such a case is vanishingly small, most people who have tried have not gotten past dismissal with prejudice or summary judgment, and no one has yet won based on the premise of false advertising or material loss due to a game balance change. Not in the western world, anyway.
But don’t take my word for it. Speak to an actual attorney. Find one willing to take your case that doesn’t ask for a huge retainer in advance.
