Make no mistake about it. This is an attacking nerf dressed up as a defensive one. Kabam don't nerf defenders...ever. You think dark pheonix is gong to be anything over than "performing how we would expect" next month?

What kabam don't like is op attackers. And spiderwomans ensnare meant that she could take champs like serpent and dark pheonix with the right rng luck on the ability fail. And kabam can't have that.

Also, the comment about not wanting to release too many strong defender in quick succession is laughable to the point they have to be just trolling us

The pool isn't getting updated. They specifically chose characters that thrive on high sig so that players could chase them in that pool for a long time

The thing I've noticed for me this month was the excitement rush of opening the new Titan crystal. Then I started to notice there was no reason to rank up any of them (except nico). I don't know how to fix it but the excitement of pulling new champs feels less exciting now than ever before. Aside from a hard counter for an AW path I don't see much use in collecting new champs. Note I don't take BGs seriously anymore, otherwise my opinion would go from wanting 1 new champs to maybe 3.

This. Ranked him up to R4, never regretted. Also a cheat code for many nodes too. Has a unique way to create openings which leads to more damage. People think he is a defender only, when played right he has very consistent damage.
