Kabam messed up the rhythm of the game. I used to 100% explore throne breaker monthly quest and took my time to do it. If I felt lazy, I autoplay the lower tiers.

Simple yet rewarding because I feel like I am achieving something at my own pace and can choose. I haven’t touched EQ this month. Barely log in during the day because there’s nothing to do.

A competitive sport where money doesn't dictate who wins most of the time ?
Counter Strike, Valorant, Apex legends ? These are all team games where the main thing is strategy and mechanics or skill.
Only thing you can buy in these games is cosmetics, you cannot buy any advantage in a real competitive e- sport.

These takes are so tiring. Where do you get this notion that just because it's a competitive mode that it should be fair and equal? All a competition is, is an event in which players compete against each other with a defined set of rules. The rules in bgs are that everyone has a deck of 30 champions to choose from, they each get 3 bans and play a best of 3 match. That's it. No where does it state it's supposed to be even.

Play and enjoy the mode up until whatever level it is you can reach whether that's via skill limitations or roster limitations or don't play it at all. Even if it was even, the same players would finish in the same spots anyway.

Never heard of a bug prohibiting people from joining an alliance with empty slots in 10 years.

I now take it back because I just got this:

So Kabam introduces some sort of 'mechanic' - Gold Border around 1 of the 3 Arenas fight options, doesn't say what it does or what it's for, has no Solo objective with points that specifies any benefit of the gold border option, and points earned for the arena milestones are identical to the non-gold-bordered option.

So what's the deal Kabam?

I think it actually is… each time I've done the yellow bar I stop and check and they always have one saga champ in them. A bit annoying but at least it's a guarantee one.

It's still really stupid though that you don't get the indication of which champion it is, so every match I go "okay is is Ghost Rider, Cosmic Ghost Rider, or Red Skull" and have to go into my champions list and filter by the tag so I know WHICH champ I have to be sure to kill with a heavy attack.

I don’t understand this mindset. I am not one with a lower level account… but shouldn’t the “adaptive” eq mean that it should be adapted to your level? If that can’t be accomplished because the format requires roster depth- then that by definition isn’t adaptive. It’s like the lower tier prestige level elder difficulty is pointless.

I say all that to say - I think these lower valiant folks have a point. They aren’t competing for our rewards… and they are roadblocked by something that really isn’t adaptive at all. Seems like the easiest fix is to shorten the paths and make them multiple.
