Re: How to Not Lose Points to Modders
I don't think banning a player prevents Kabam from investigating how the player did what they did. They still have the past matches, why would they need future ones at the expense of the playerbase? Judging by Crashed's comment that he bans modders after he faces them, I don't think the time at which they were banned is a factor in helping Kabam get to the bottom of anything. And if it can prevent more damage, then its clearly the better option. The goal should be to figure out how on earth that guy managed to get where he was undetected by the "anti cheat" system. Not shooting first and investigating after. Because obviously he didn't just cheat that match.I respectfully disagree. I think the goal should be minimizing harm. All of those steps would be pointless since a Kabam employee knew the person was modding with certainty. Do you also think that if a Kabam employee faced a modder, that after the match instead of banning the modder to minimize any more harm they could cause, that they should instead report them and let the modder continue to cause harm until they do get banned through the "proper channels?"Not really sure I understand your point.I dunno where you guys are from but a police officer in plain clothes gotta identify himself and also have jurisdiction in the place of the crime...This isn't a case of the police being called and arriving quicker to the folks they favor. This is a case of the police being present when the crime is happening and doing their jobs. Completely different scenario. It's cool that Lagacy didn't get screwed over by this lowlife cheater.Yeah I mean, I'm happy that Lags got saved and the cheater got banned.
But why can't Kabam now go back and delete the lost points for everyone else who got screwed over by this cheater?
It literally took these Kabam bros 30 seconds to move the wheels of justice for Lagacy.
They must've been parkouring across the office trying to help their broski.
But why does that mean we also have to be happy with a clearcut case of selective enforcement?
I've seen this on nextdoor/facebook when I used to still go on those sites.
The police would respond immediately to a robbery at a rich person's house, and other people would say, why do they never respond like that when we call about intruders in our homes.
And then some frequent commenters would always say stuff like: "Shut up and just be glad the police caught the robbers this time."
What's even crazier is that these frequent commenters weren't even affiliated with the police department in any way, and the police itself would never try to defend its actions like that.
At the end of the day, the facts here speak for themselves, and I'm seeing this being talked about in various other channels.
So everyone is entitled to their opinion, and there is no need for me or anyone else to keep posting the same opinions again and again, so I'm out on this one.
Anyway we are talking about a game where cheaters went as far as shipping devices for merc services...
I guess this is just another story ...
The course of the ban should have taken the natural course that everyone goes thru, report, investigate, ban. That's just my opinion though.
I think the thing a lot of you don't realize is that banning that modder right then and there didn't just help Lagacy, but all the future people that modder would have faced until they got banned from a report.
The harm was already done to 20 or 30 people before Lagacy, to other game modes where he acquired items. What's a few more cheated matches gonna do anyway? "Collecting more data" to figure out how the mod is going undetected by the "anti cheat technology" seems like a smarter route.

Re: Why you should vote for Loki
I didn’t even think twice before voting for Ghost Rider. Easiest decision ever for a Summoner’s Choice Rework.

Re: Ghost Rider fans rejoice! We get our chance for a buff!!!
He does have so much potential, buff immunity, nova flame immunity, a new type of incinerate effect, etc

Re: Why you should vote for Loki
He SHOULD be nova flame immuneI went with Loki (even though the thought of recreating the Blade trinity is tempting). What if Ghost Rider gets buff immunity instead of Fate seal? He could even be Nova flame immune as well
I just think that Buff Stealing is super unique, compared to the likely fateseals that Ghost Rider would get.
Re: Thoughts on the 9 buffed champions?
???Other than Cull and maybe Sabretooth they look very underwhelming, Voodoo is debatable we'll have to see how it actually plays out cause some of it sounds like a nerf and some of it sounds like a tune up but these three are the only ones that have any meta relevance potential because they will actually target current annoying meta defenders. Cull for Zola, Sabretooth for Bullseye and Yelena, Voodoo for Serpent and Dark Phoenix. The rest however, I have no idea where I would even use them, even post buff they sound mid on paper especially Viv what even are those changes? Big waste of a "rework" when they could've picked Doc Oc, Darkhawk or Vulture and done an actual rework. They were never advertised as reworks and Viv was never advertised as being a buff slot. They wanted her in the selector, decided to fix some bugs with her and decided that they had the time to do some tune ups on the rest of the pool to make them better at what they already do which they objectively are. Night Thrasher is gonna be a great counter to modok and high evolutionary too

@ahmynuts lemme borrow this rq.
Well that's still a terrible choice for the selector regardless of how it was advertised, it's not about expecting something else its about the fact that there are other champs that needed the tune ups more, she barely got any changes they could've easily fixed those small issues on a different update like they're doing with Zemo that's why I say it feels like a wasted slot. All the tech champs I mentioned needed major tune ups similar to the rest of the champs in the pool, Viv makes absolutely no sense she barely got two changes that will leave her on the spot she was in before the buff in terms of relevance.
Not familiar with Night Thrasher so I can't really comment on that, if he does then I'll stand corrected on that one. Not like High Evo needs a counter but MODOK does look like cancer after the buff.
