Yep. And no one has been able to show me Kabam explicitly saying that sp1 bias means that the defender will throw the sp1 even while you're blocking. There's no sp1 bias in Bishop's kit yet he would throw it while you're blocking or not. He and others with whom the sp1 is beneficial.

Trying to push her to sp2 she will throw sp1 into block repeatedly inflicting stings meaning you can't use specials and if you do you're ****.

I agree with you. I consider myself as a mid-level player. I cannot do many "celestial" skills like reparry or perfect intersepts. I am 31, my reaction time is slower than for 20 years players. I will never become MSD or TrapMC. I even do not want to. I tried to learn reparry, spent 2 days trying and my fingers are just not that fast or whatever. Anyway, I am so tired from my work and life, that I just do not have time and wish to sit and learn the game. I just want to have fun. At the same time, I like my level of playing. My skills are enough to shine in Platinum 6 and be somewhat decent in Quantum in BG.
However, I feel and see that people are leaving BG more and more with each season.
When Radiance was just introduced in objectives, I think I was in Arcane when reached 200 points. And it did not take a lot of time as a mid-level player I won more than lost. In my alliance the event for BG was closed in a few weeks.
And with each season reaching 200 points was becoming harder and harder. Now in my alliance we do not close even a half of the event. When I play BG I face soo skilled players, that it is a very very tough fight. I should be 500% focused on a game and keep every second, every % of the health to win.
This led me spending 10 h previous Monday and Tuesday to progress from 176 points to 200. Just because my stats were win-lose-win-lose-win-lose.
I decided that I will not care about last milestone next season if I will not make it within 3 fights per 2 days objectives. I will get what I will earn. 10k radiance just do not cost that much efforts. I am OK with less amount of rewards and normal mental health.
Kabam should remake the points system in GC, otherwise, it will become to a place for only 2-3k people, the most skilled players. But wait, are there only 2-3k players in the game? No, just by looking at rank rewards for realm event, there are rewards for 1 million people. So, why Kabam again makes the mistake they did 6+ years ago, by releasing content and focusing on content for minority of people?
They could at least reduce amount of points you lose. Or grant additional points, which will cover the minus points for specific achievements in the fight. For example, you defeated the enemy +2 points. You finished with 80%+ health - thats +2 points, 90%+ health - thats +3 bonus points. You finished fight within 90 seconds - thats +2 points, within 60 seconds - thats +3 points. Your total score for 2-3 rounds just 100-200 points lower than from your opponent - this is +5 points. Such compensation will still reward skilled players. But at the same time it will give opportunity for the mid-level and low-level players to feel engaged in the competition.
Instead we have the most frustrating, punishing and toxic game mode ever.
3 years of BG and it is on the same state as was released. And according to livestreams nothing is gonna change there. Sadly, but trully, Kabam is killing this game mode. And, IMO, introducing system of lowering the points if you do not play will not help, it will lead to an opposite effect. Instead of making this mode interesting, they will make it even more punishing to player's efforts.

Participation in GC has been steadily decreasing from the highs of when Radiance was first introduced (the points required to be in any specific tier for tiers below Mysterium have steadily dropped). I think what you are experiencing is exactly that "zero sum game" problem when there aren't any new players coming in.
It will be interesting whether the introduction of "Unranked mode" might cause another precipitous drop, as now players can just opt for the less stressful unranked matches to fulfill the daily objectives. I think even if a point decay system is introduced to try to discourage camping, I don't think that there will be any change in commitment level of diehards vs dilettantes.

this GC meta nodes are also awfull lot of champs that have multiple immunities draft no counter and they ending with 100% health… its not the players its the nodes that frustrated me always the same over and over again regen/powergain meta’s

I can’t imagine because past 100 points I only faced whales bigger than me, that couldn’t progress in a zero sum game. That’s my point. F2P and smaller accounts need to be incentivized to play BG or it’s unplayable for the paying customers.

I agree, it’s really stressful to earn those milestones. In the first few days, the Gladiator Circle is full of whales, and by the time they move up to higher ranks, the deadline has already passed.
One alternative could be to allow players to earn those points throughout the whole month instead of having a deadline. This would help many people reach at least 100 points, or even better…
Another alternative would be to make the 20k milestones achievable after a certain number of victories in the Gladiator Circle, rather than relying on the current points system. For example:
- Earn 10k Radiance if you win 10 times in the Gladiator Circle.
- Earn another 10k if you win 20 times in the Gladiator Circle.
This change would help smaller accounts a lot.

ELO decay is planned but how does it solve the zero sum game of a few hundred players and no new blood pushing points from below?
