Re: Quick reminder (not a guide) you should try to do the Symbiote Incursion event, it’s very doable.

you can get every immunity plus a few other abilities. Just because you didn’t get roadblocked by it, doesn’t mean someone else won’t.

The symbiote is more than capable of doing enough damage. The only thing that can cause it issues is infinitely high regen, insanely high debuff dmg, insanely high power generation from a power drain immune champ.

richtheman got road blocked by an ibom I believe? Try and take ibom without poison immune and see how quickly the acid burn will melt you if the other nodes stall you.

it’s about prevention. Getting through fights fast won’t help you, when you can’t get through a fight at all.

better to progress to room 30 without major issue and take a while, than race to your roadblock.

I myself managed a room 30 item less and without unit spend. My alliance mate did the same with the same strat.

id highly recommend everyone choose the safe option. But its everyone personal choice.

If anything, this is less of a money grab than the previous saga incursions/quarterly runs. They gave everyone the same champ, whereas before you were limited to roster depth.

You can do it completely itemless. You just have to know how to use Steve and what you're doing. He becomes functionally immortal after a 6-7 rooms.

The ai had eveloved again - short dex back counter for attacker dash ins AND now specials !

Ok this is ridiculous.

So I’ve now had it occur more and more frequently. Just the last fight I had versus a dust had it occur 4 times.

Essentially you either do one of the two and the ai manages to dex away and punish or dex away and parry.

Now this was already occurring with basic attacks. We’ve all seen the stupid recovery times and weird cancelling.

But now it’s occurring for special attacks.

So as an attacker I am now getting caught when firing my specials, as special intercepts.

So I wait for opponent ai to dash in. As I special intercept they somehow are now able to “recover” or cancel their medium dash and dex back away from the initial hit, and then parry the second hit and of course block the rest.

Which I guess is fine….if we could do it aswell as it’d then be fair…..but we can’t…there is no way I can do a medium dash and then if I see them start to fire a special, dex back away from the special…and parry the rest of the hits or block it..

Just ridiculous.
