Re: The Problem with The Compensation
If comping people justly on the Zola issue would have destroyed game economy, but 7*s being comped out now in buckets is NOT an issue now, then why couldn’t folks who were genuinely affected by the Zola issue not just get buckets of 7*s too?
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
With all due respect Mike, you all can hope people won’t exploit bugs going forward…. But that’s fantasy land. Everyone got the message loud and clear after this fiasco of a comp.
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
This has been aa absolute diaster, another example of kabam not testing stuff before the launch it, this has 3 fold effects.
As many pointed out all the free sigs, and titan shards and iso etc.
I doubt many had all champs from the old pool, as they would have had a chance to gain those missing champs from the old pool.
Now they get all those crystals again with a rare chance to grab champs from the new pool.
Kabam has dropped the ball here its one of the biggest mistakes for some time, and expands the divide even more. Pathetic!
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
I honestly couldn’t say what I opened, but I’m not sure 4 Paragons has anything to do with it.

So, they finally did it. This company is deaf as a clam. Without the whales supporting them, they re just an empty shell.
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
Fine, its not game breaking, its definitely trust breaking which is worse
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
of course they are… and they know it. Which is why the thrust of the message tonight was to try to appeal other summoners not to exploit anything going forward. How long do you have to live in this world before you figure out you get what your reward?
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
My general thought is Kabam is incentivizing bad behavior. Not to say all those who opened their crystals immediately knew about the bug. But the word spreads fast and then boom people were mass opening knowing there was compensation. The result is those who couldn’t or didn’t get nothing in compensation while those who opened their crystals immediately get double amount of champions plus all the titan shards. It would have been better to roll back all openings which logically is too difficult. What irritates me I actually spend a decent amount of money on the game but really don’t know about these issues because I’m too busy working when they happen. So I almost never in the 10 years I’ve been playing get any rewards for these situations. Whereas a ton of people take advantage of it all the time. I usually cut back on my spending for a while when these things happen because it truly is a rotten system.
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
At some point I wonder if Netmarble doesn't have a mole in the forums to find out how bad the game is turning. Yeah sure its successful, probably still makes money. Just imagine how much potential to make MORE the game would have if it actually worked better...
