@Kabam (Osaurus) Rex wouldn’t it make more sense to also provide compensation everyone who opened after the affected time window with a 1:1 version of the bugged crystal so that we aren’t just rewarding a lucky select bunch that opened during that time? Shouldn’t the same principle from the post about the Zola comp apply to this, since it was stated that you guys don’t want to be rewarding the lucky ones that got to take advantage of the small time window.

Work on getting better from what point? Cause so far it's getting worse by every update of an item or update of the game. Everytime something happens we just get the promise of things getting better.

... if you conveniently forget that that just isnt true and this is a game where literally every single resource and stupid ass prestige, sig, mastery point matters.

You literally rewarded players who took advantage of a bug with the BIGGEST reward you've every given out for doing nothing and flipped everyone else off.

Hold on, are you telling that there were bugged crystals in the past? Why didn't the game team just say back then that they will make sure this never happens again?

Actually, come to think of it, they could've said that after the Zola titan bug this year.

Oh well, at least the game team has finally said after this most recent bug that they will make sure this never happens again.

But its not a fact, they took the worse decision possible to fix a complete mess. That is not a fact that it doesn't break the game or affect other players. I know you are smart enough to know facts from opinion. Its your opinion that their decision doesnt break the game and that's why they went in the only route available; but your opinion is not a fact.

The only fact is that this situation just gave a bunch of players a X amount of sig levels and dups that was not intended for them to have. That is a fact.

There's 2 core issues going on here

1. It took over a week just to get a response regarding this matter, despite this being the #1 thread for the well majority of last week, and you probably won't reply to this either. Also, there was no mention of it on the livestream (even those arguing against this thread assumed it would be brought up with a small general comp sent out). Your response didn't mention anything about the players missing out on the comp, which is going to spite people even more than they already were, and encourage them to take advantage of bugs.

2. Several people missed out by being asleep, at work etc but the biggest issue is those people who saw your ping or the news about the bug, and chose not to open because they didn't want to exploit the bug. This is an honest move and just by being a "good samaritan" they're missing out on one of the largest scale compensations being sent out. To give more context on this, I polled about 30 players that got the comp and over 60% of them didn't plan to originally open them , but did so purely just to qualify for the compensation.

And now to hear, that nothing is being done for the players described above, the morale to spend and play the game has dropped for a lot of these players (if you read the threads,comments you'd see this).

I'm bringing this up because the banquet/cyber drop in unit cost for chase champs is a pro player move for 1 of the biggest issues of the past (paywall gating champs), and things like that builds trust with the playerbase. But deliberately leaving out the honest players that missed out from this bug essentially just negates that.

Dude, you don’t know jack **** about how or why they make decisions, what their options are, how they see the issues, nothing. You don’t know anything yet you blindly talk about Kabam’s operations as if you’re sitting in their meetings.

No, as they showed with the compensation situation for the 7-star crystal bug exploit, you will be compensated for exploiting the game. So from now on, if they don’t want to fall into their own trap, we will all have the right to abuse the game’s bugs. (In fact, we should even be rewarded for it).
