I just can't imagine not saying a single word at an event, not even a "hello," but then writing a thousand word essay about how every employee there was cold. That is a self-fulfilling prophecy, a way to cast blame on others for our own inability to socialize.

Also remember that many people have a very warped perspective of what is actually happening in the moment. Like someone might think they're giving a friendly smile or nod, but the people on the receiving end might be seeing a tense unwelcome grimace.

Not saying this is OP's situation, but just want people in this thread who might be young or shy or whatever to kind of not fall into this trap of both not putting themselves out there but then also expecting and blaming others for rejecting them. I didn't say they were, and this doesn't just apply to waiters this applies to literally every single job in the world and every social interaction as well. If you smile at someone and they give you a disgusting look or make any sort of facial expression that doesn't make you feel welcomed do you still go up to them with a smile and say hi? This is what op is saying, that he didn't feel welcomed. Maybe it wasn't their intention of course because it must have been very stressful to put up an event such as this one but it doesn't change the fact that that's how op felt, and you downplaying the experience from someone who was there in person is ridiculous, you weren't there.

Agreed, and it's even worse when you use champs like FAM who have long reach light attacks, 90% of the time when you go for a light intercept the AI just walks up to you slowly and clips you with a light. I watched it happen to Liam I believe during the Battlerealm Brawl even. The problem is that now this issue is hurting even champs who don't have long reach light attacks it's almost like the AI reverts itself to ROL AI temporarily for absolutely no reason and just decides to do unpredictable **** out of nowhere
