Re: Elder
No they said in the livestream it would be an equivalent, so the resources but not the gem. Probably a 3-4 class gem for completion and generic for exploration.
Re: End of an Era – Back Issues
This is incredibly disheartening and yes there should be something for those that actually 100% everything. Especially before the announcement and how much of a waste of energy Back Issues #1 was to 100 on both classic and variant.
Re: The CCP Benefits and Privileges should be review
This is an insightful parallel on acholism and spending money in game. They both can be driven by a need for escape or a way to manage stress. They can also both escalate over time, where the initial spending or use feels harmless but can become compulsive. And both can have a big impact on financial health, relationships, and overall well-being. So, they share a lot in those underlying psychological patterns. I’ve never seen content creators openly encourage people to drink alcohol during their streams, but I regularly see creators promoting in-game spending, even directly on company livestream like Kabam’s. Why is there such a difference? It feels like there’s one standard for alcohol and another for in-game purchases. Shouldn’t the same level of caution apply to both?
Re: Sharing is caring.
Your response to non-CCP content creators getting slapped in the face is to wave your open hand directly in front of them? That seems unnecessarily cruel.
Re: The CCP Benefits and Privileges should be review
You seem a bit biased when it comes to KT. Is there some background between you two that we should know about?
Re: The CCP Benefits and Privileges should be review
I don't have a problem with Kabam doing CCP-specific Twitch drops, but it would help immensely if they pinned a post with all of the CCP member's Twitch channels. The CCP members that I actually follow don't do Twitch streams (to my knowledge), and the bigger streamers that I know do Twitch streams (like Vega and KT1) tend to bounce in and out of the CCP.
What I'm trying to say is, it's kinda hard to know who streams what and where and if they're in the CCP to begin with. Especially if you (like me) aren't really into Twitch to begin with. I watch Kabam's monthly livestreams there and that's about it. I'm open to the idea of watching some CCP stuff there, but please give me some clear directions so that I know which channels to look out for.
Re: The CCP Benefits and Privileges should be review
I am ok with other things. But I would like the testing map so we can all have some practicing grounds and level the field. Other than that, the CCP members put in a lot of work to bring content and they deserve the extra support from Kabam so I am okay with it. People who are complaining about the extra advantage do not understand the work that is required to being a content creator with a large following.
On another note, Vega should be back in the CCP. Kabam made Vega quit when he complained about the game back last year and I think that does not fit under Mike's post "Creators in the CCP are not required to gear their content in any direction, and can operate their content how they see fit."
Re: Sharing is caring.
All that “Farm” talk from someone who practically pays rent in the forums is wild. When’s the last time you actually logged off and touched grass?
Re: Sharing is caring.
Your comments are painfully dull, like watching a cow try to graze on artificial turf. There’s just nothing there.
Re: The CCP Benefits and Privileges should be review
To be honest, I don’t think this approach is beneficial for anyone.
Why would you want to push me to watch someone whose content I’m not interested in (any CCP creator from the current pool), and whose opinion I don’t respect or care about?
If you make it worthwhile through rewards, I’ll probably just open their stream in the background for the bare minimum time needed to claim those rewards — and I’ll hate doing it. On top of that, I’ll end up resenting them because this system disadvantages my favorite creator, who is more than big enough to be included and definitely shouldn’t be excluded just because you want to favor someone else.
