Re: The Problem with The Compensation
Like I said its not a first time issue, they should have a better contingency plan than comb manually thru accounts. We are talking about a 10 year old company, not an indie gaming company out of a garage.
Its not groundbreaking for a regular player, it is ground breaking for people who invest money and time in getting every sig stone possible and available to improve their accounts due to this BS top 30 prestige change, it is a big issue for people spending money like the odins during CM to get an AG and use it on a champ they were never able to dup.
Sure some people are fine with a Dup 7* at sig 1... That is not the case for everyone.
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
It's human error regardless, and its the 2nd time it happened in 2 crystal updates.
Saying we don't know this and that is a lot easier to say than they should know this and that. They have been updating crystals for 10 years, they should know better.
And the whole point is that when mistakes like this happen they should have a contingency plan to reverse it by now.
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
It affects everybody because it has such a distorting affect on the power balance between players. If it was wholly PvE then you’d be right, but PvP is a core part of the game so you’re wrong.
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
Remember that as stated multiple times by kabam they see and read everything that happens on the forums. So they are intentionally not commenting on any of these threads.
Failing to limit bug followed by failing to improve communication
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
The amazing part is that this type of situations are not a first time situation. It happened with loyalty, with mythic crystals, with Titan crystals, with wrong items in sales and they HAVEN'T EVEN CONSIDERED A WAY TO REVERSE THIS TYPE OF ISSUES.
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
Not saying this is a perfect analogy, but I'm trying to explain why players are whining about "unfairness".
Someone accidentally knocked the 1st child's Switch off the table and the parent have then gone and replaced it with a Switch 2. So now they have much more than they originally lost. That worked out pretty well for them.
Right after that someone knocks the 2nd child's Switch of the table. But they only get their Switch back. They have exactly what they should have.
In isolation these seem fair, but together they make an unfair scenario.
The only variable is time - why does one get more than the other?
