This situation is a total tragedy and it is clearly seen that Kabam has chosen not the best solution. I cannot imagine the impact on the future players involvement in the game if they keep their current decision. It feels like a corner case which decides the future of the game.

I spun 5 crystals out and thought it was weird I wasn’t seeing any new champs in the reel. I stopped for 15 minutes or so to see if there’s anything wrong. Then Kabam said they fixed the crystal so I opened my other 22. I guess I should’ve just opened them all at once. I’m an idiot.

I don't disagree and I am not taking a dig at you. You are dismissing other people's argument by minimizing their point of view.

Is this detrimetal for someone who just likes new champs and stays with a champ at sig 20? No is not, is it detrimental for someone who scrapes up every sig stone possible? Its very detrimental.

You are defending this issue by putting your point of view. Is it possible that this compensation is very detrimental; but only way for them to fix it? Does that mean it is the right fix or does it mean that its the only fix?

Don't take this as an insult; but you and I are not playing the same game. You are fine not doing stuff that you find too difficult or don't enjoy. Others do the stuff to make their rosters as strong as they can whether they enjoy it or not

You can't tell other what is detrimental or not when you don't put the max effort and treat things casually.

So someone who had 30 crystals gets 60 and that is not detrimental? Even someone who had 5 crystals gets 10 and is not detrimental? Its not detrimental to casual people. Its very detrimental to others. Yes people advance all the time, and they earn that advancement. If its not detrimental then put a 7* basic crystal everyday on a calendar, make rewards for a full season of war better. I played a whole season in P3 tier 2 wars, 7 shatter essences that equal 7k 7* shards, how is the idea of doubling up crystals not detrimental?

Pretending everyone is playing the game the same you are is also a losing game.

You keep on making my point. "Some benefit"? Yeah if you decide to minimize it cause you really don't care about prestige its just "Some benefit". For people who invest their time and money its not just "some benefit" its a huge benefit. Do players who play map 5 or 6 and do regular raids care about it? Probably not, does the people who start dumping sig stones to reach the next tier of elder eq rewards, play Nightmare raids and map 8 weekly care? Probably yes.

GroundedWisdom I got a question for you. Why was the Zola compensation fine and everyone didn't deserve a 1 to 1 replacement but this is? You and DNA (to be fair more him than you) were strongly against it then, but this time around you're not?

Well you are just looking at 1 perspective. You think all the people who are upset are bothered because they don't get a 2nd set of crystals to open. That is not the case. Matter of fact that is a very 1 dimension casual perspective. That perspective is perfectly fine for people who enjoying pulling a champ, it doesnt fit to someone who tries to acquire every sig stone available in game or by purchasing and feels cheated.

There is a huge difference between a player who buys out the weekly reset in BG store by buying 7* shards and one who buys generic sig stones don't you think?

A rush to engage with botched content is right… cause we literally just dealt with this again, this morning, literally one day after their LAST glitch/issue, with the first hour of the Deadpool side quest entries being bugged/flipped around, another exploit.

You put a tag on update Basic 7* X and the search querie should be on point.

Maybe that's the problem, constant adding stuff into something that can be replaced instead.
