Re: Ares initial run by an *average? Valiant
Hardly anyone actually enjoys content like this. I won’t even be bothering with it for a while.

Re: Question about Ares Final Phase
In the stream, they made a big point to mention how reviving in the final stage would be beneficial because at the very least, it removes one immortality charge. If they leave it as, it will feel incredibly slimy.
The complete lack of communication is eye opening. I would have thought they would have been all over this as soon as it was discovered yesterday.

As I said on my thread its not a bad fight.
Id just want 2 things added / removed.
Special icon to display current thrown special.
No animation increase between phases.
Learning to dex his specials was fun.
I think I spent 1k units total on ares alone. But the first 400 was me taking him to 95%
I later felt more comfortable with the specials but the rythm threw me off every phase

Re: It’s crazy no one cares about war tactic and war rating bugs lol
Its just that 1% of players take war seriously.
Re: Overall reception of epoch?
It's definitely end game content but not impossible.
I completed the Hulkling path and just brute forced my way through Ares, without a single successful action against his specials.
I really think changing the parry action to just block would be much better.

Re: Question about Ares Final Phase
@KabamPinwheel @KabamDORK @Kabamcrashed Can you please comment on whether the game team has eyes on the immortality bug? It seems fairly significant.

Re: So, how did you enjoy ares?
Just finished exploring epoch. After fighting Ares six times I don't find him boring at all. Every time I was excited and he always kept me on my guard and I liked even if I go in again I will enjoy the fight.
I think the first run was the most difficult. Learning and first seeing his whole special animations and memorizing it and then countering with the required actions was hell.
But during the second and third run I got the hangof it. From 4th to 6th run I just used 10 revs on Ares every single time and most of them went to the last phase.
And let me tell you a trick if it is sp2 the sword transforms much faster and if you watch the back of Ares head you can notice it sooner. All in all he is the most fun fight I had in a while.
But AI walking towards me and light intercepting was so infuriating on my first run but then I learned I can just punish his heavy. So went for that afterwards.
A well designed and fun fight I would say.
4.8/5(Because the AI is still a jerk)

Re: Ares specials
Pro tip from someone in Nagase's comment section: watch his eyes when he points at you. If they flash once, it's a sp1, they flash twice it's a sp2. Went from 10 single revives and 3 team revives to 1 team revive and 2 single revives on ares with this strat

This is apparently the newest Trello board. I don’t see it on at all.
Just a quick shout out to @KabamPinwheel here…would be nice to see this show up somewhere as under investigation, especially since it’s for much anticipated new content that doesn’t seem to be working as advertised in a significant way.
