You downloaded the game through an APK and therefore you're breaking ToS. You didn't get banned before because they didn't have this system that helps them detect third party software, modding etc a lot faster, this however doesn't mean you weren't already breaking ToS back then. It's unfortunate if you aren't actually modding but if this is going to solve majority of all modding issues then unfortunately it is what it is, you guys are collateral damage but it's what needs to be done if we want this game to keep running for as long as possible.

The game also works just fine on iPhones through the App Store. Only android has an issue in China because of the Google ban, but Kabam still offers the game through every avenue that is legal in the country and within the ToS.
