I finished necro exploration this last June, so I would love to give you recent champ advice, cause I saved a lot of units using people’s advice. I will say tho, on the surface, dark phoenix is probably one of the best options for necro runs, due to her long fight damage, and her immortality. She is busted in necro

Have you done any of the necropolis Carina’s challenges? If not, I’d definitely do the full run of that as one path and potentially do a full path with the mutant team. I recently did most necro exploration paths, and onslaught puts in so much work on pretty much every path you can take. Juggernaut is also helpful for grandmaster’s reverse controls and some fights on the right side. I’d definitely watch some videos explaining the paths and then figure out where onslaught will work.

No, he's right. I remember this being mentioned as the fourth pillar next to AW, AQ and BG. Basically AW is alliance PvP, AQ is alliance PvE, BG is solo PvP, but there has always been a fourth category - solo PvE - that's been missing from the competitive scene. This new mode was supposed to be that.

Obviously I don't know the answer, but I suspect that the poker-esque game mode they tried out a few months ago might have been it. We had a trial run but the response wasn't stellar, so I can imagine that they went back to the drawing board for a while before launching it proper in a truly competitive manner.

But I'm just guessing.

It's definitely more than 20% improved for Valiants. Closer to 30-40% reduction in attack values and 25-30% in health pools. Much easier, much faster than before. Still challenging, but that is more due to roster limitations as a result of the nodes than it is due to the difficulty itself.

This is almost certainly the format going forward, but I think a couple things would be helpful. First, removing the classic requirement for Valiants (which sounds like may happen), and second, allow players to lock themselves into lower tiers if the difficulty at their current prestige tier is too much. There really isn't a drastic rewards difference from tier to tier, so if sacrificing 2-3% of the rewards makes the content better for some, I think that's worthwhile and players should get that option.

The general structure of the format is good, the execution has just been poor. Clean up the rough edges and we will be in a good spot with monthly EQ.
