Re: Coliseum Strategy
For one... Thanks.
For two... Did my entire alliance miss something in game in the update section about Coliseum? Honestly, nobody uses twitch or gives a **** about the live stream. 15 people were asking why is AQ pending. Had to come on here and ask why AQ was pending to even hear of Coliseum.
The only thing in updates was give us money for ravger stuff. Because that's important but a new game mode is pretty much screw you, figure it out when it happens. And even better as the holiday season starts. Before banquet... Like this couldn't be started in the new year?
It's really sad that YOU thought to write something up for YOUR ALLIANCE, and as a company person, you just thought it was info the whole player base might want? What a screwed up company. Information on stuff seriously sucks. And I shouldn't have to look to twitch for info when you literally have an update section in game that stays static for a reason. But when it comes to you getting money, it's the first damn thing in the update. But actual information to help us understand something new in the game and we have to rely on something you just planned for your alliance? That's f'd up.
But thank you for the info.
Re: If you had 50 million Battlechips …
Gentleman, i present to you: madness
Outcome of 1006 TB Arena Crystals are (for me) 84k units, 131 mio gold and ONE 6* punisher. 😊
Thanks to all who participated in this thread!
Now back to arena …
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
You're misunderstanding how the RER Shards operate.
Any 7-Star Dupe = RER Shards
Max Sig Titan Dupe = RER Shards + More RER Shards
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
The Sig 200 RER bonus is only for Max Sig Champions from Titan Crystals, and all impacted Crystals opened during the impacted period will not be qualified for RER Rewards.
Re: Coliseum Strategy
Initial post had an error related to tag requirements for solo Coliseum. I have updated the post above.
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
Hey friends,
First off, thank you for the feedback on the compensation over the past few days. I’ve read every thread, every reply, and every DM.
I get why a lot of you feel this route isn't the move for this comp, especially when you compare it to previous ones. I did bring the feedback to the Team, but ultimately, the decision was made to go ahead with the compensation outlined.
A couple of things we want to be clear about:
We notified that the bug exists as soon as we were aware of it, right when it was fixed, and as soon as we had a compensation plan. From that point, there wasn't much for us to say. As I've said many times, I think it's important you get to speak your mind in a public forum, so I didn't close down any of the threads after a decision was made.
Ultimately, we wanted to lean on the generous side for this issue, since imo, it was a pretty large issue.
Walking the line between “make players whole” and “don’t incentivize future bug abuse” is never easy, and refunding broken Crystals is where we landed on this one.
Each issue in the game is independent of itself. I completely get why many of you are comparing this to the Zola compensation - the situations feel similar on the surface, but in reality, there is a large difference between Basic Crystals and Titan Crystals. Different crystal types have very different economic impacts on the game. Treating every issue with a one-size-fits-all response, regardless of context, just isn’t feasible in the long run.
We know this answer isn’t going to satisfy everyone; it never does in these cases.
We don't want to encourage players to take advantage of bugs, but we do want players to feel confident that the Crystals they open are accurate and correct.
As I'm sure you can imagine, this was as frustrating an experience for us as it was for all of you.
Nobody on the team wants to ship bugs like this, and nobody wants to see the Community upset -
For the obvious reasons, and also because then they have to deal with me yelling (figuratively) about it.
We learned a lot from this instance, and we’re going to keep working on getting better at preventing these issues from happening in the first place.
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
really appreciate the open communication from the game team to the numerous concerns expressed here and other places…. You guys really nailed it. Such an impressive turn around recently 🙄
