Well it's kabam, I hope it's a mistake, but I find it hard to believe.. my real belief is that they looking for ways to nerf existing champs to sell newer ones

-hopefully i'm putting this in the appropriate category- This post is in no way, shape or form anything other than to be praise and acknowledgement to the people who run this game, Kabam. I really wanted to come on here and just thank you for your work and dedication to the game. I just love this game so much and it's been such a large part of my life. Being able to play this mobile game for free, without meaningless ads and have an active and helpful community is just so mind blowing to me. The Marvel Universe is fascinating and inspiring to me on a personal level and being able to engage with the franchise in a video game style is always enjoyable! When I started this game as a teenager I did not imagine that I would have been playing it into my twenties. I would like to share, without being too dramatic or anything, that I started playing MCOC with one of my best friends in middle school who passed away later that year. Even though his name is gone in the game, his profile still remains on my friends list and it's something that is so meaningful to me, to be able to look at and see how far I've come from then, within and outside of the game. I hope that others in the community have found special connections to the game as I have. SO, I simply want to say THANK YOU to the developers for this incredible game and happy questing to everyone else that may find this post.

Do You Know What Your Players Read?...BLAH BLAH BLAH...Same Old Same Old

"Hey, do you know those champions that seem really Powerful, that you spend you real time and money to chase and aquired and ranked up, and been using for 2, 3 or 5 years now.

Well it turn out, that wasn't how we meant for them to work, so we going "fix" it now, yep those champions we sold for, with the video Deep Diver showing how strong they were, well they not now, hey ho,

And of course this is nothing to do with our lack of testing before selling a product, and we were planning to keep the community well information, it just that your were too fast at finding out the problem"

Kingpin, Shocker and now Onslaught, Jean Grey, Cassandra, Deadpool XF, Gentle.

Year in year out, 9 months downhill, then 3 months "top of the pop" right before the big sale, and the cycle continue. It is getting really old Kabam, and you wonder why your players (customers) have a problem with trusting you.

The conclusion to the situation is 5 of the top Mutant champions been nerf (Onslaught have been out for 2 years and NOW Kabam realised he not working as he should? REALLY? Seriously?

A lot of players would have these champions ranked up as high as they could (and put sig stone into them, thank to the MEQ rewards link to Prestige). All of them no long functions as they were, as players have used them and ranked up for.

So while there are 5 champions that are effected by this, I'm only asking for 2 Rank Down tickets.

Now if Kabam can't do Class Rank Down Tickets and maybe Mutant Rank Up ticket instead, so players can use the resources they wasted on other Mutant champions.

They are trying it the politican way now as if we are total idiots and will not notice sh*t.

This forum is dead, sure Rex will read some stuff but communication is very one-sided now, as Discord does not "allow" for replies and comments in notifications when they give us their two cents.

Hello everyone, I want to seriously complain and vent my frustration.

How ridiculously complicated and cumbersome are these two Coliseum enemies plus their corresponding nodes?

Kabam, what are you thinking?

It's so incredibly annoying. I have absolutely no time to play because I'm constantly busy figuring out what I'm supposed to do. As if Arcade wasn't hard enough already, no, they have to add insanely complicated nodes on top of it. Same with Crossbones. Why the SP2 lock? Why the degeneration? It's absolutely no fun. The rewards aren't worth it either. Sometimes the game lags and you can't perform heavy attacks. Then, of course, you have to have the right champions, as always. What the hell are you thinking? This isn't "fun," it's not "challenging," or anything else enjoyable. I'm so annoyed by it, I'm angry and stressed. I love the game but this has nothing to do with fun and relaxed gaming, not even a single T5AC justifies it! Gosh. Thanks, have a good evening!

Anyways this thread has obviously picked up a lot of steam and I’m sure it’s in Kabam’s interest to at least try to put out this fire, so I’m just gonna go ahead and tag @Kabam (Osaurus) Rex for comment in the event that he hasn’t seen this thread yet.

Onslaught has been active in the battle realm for more than two years. They can still find some way to “re-balance” him. Now maybe no champion is safe anymore especially 2024-2025 champions, except Dark Phoenix :(

For Hulkling and Valk, the community found the difference in damage and pointed it out, or they would never shine again due to kind of “unknown” change. Next time we may be not so lucky as this time since we cannot guarantee that we are able to compare and point out every difference consisting of different mechanics.

Thanks OP, I got it and I tested it too.

It’s definitely a silent nerf without any communication. I don’t care the reason of the nerf like they’ll announce a new skill defender with protection mechanic or 946 boss with protection. I only know this change is never written in the patch notes or bug reports whatsoever. It’s just that they want to change something even half of the top mutants would be effected not only limited in Onslaught.
Jean, Onslaught, Cassandra, Gentle, Silver Samurai and more mutants are nerfed without no announcement or note, meanwhile it needs players to test and find the fact that they have nerfed it.

It’s absolutely a BIG L and “We just fix it into the right way of interaction” Trick doesn’t work anymore. If it’s a bug caused by the new game version, fix it back to the former interaction mechanic ASAP. If it’s a nerf, I believe they just put fire on the oil and we’ll see the community burn again. Whatever it is, the game-changing “NERF” has already swallowed players’ BG points when you use Onslaught to take down DThanos.

I won’t accept any saying like “We just found Daunted is too powerful to be accepted in the game environment”. If so, they better prepare every rank down tickets for every player
