Well… looks like my timing was impeccable!

A few days after I posted this, Kabam went and dropped the Act 6 update news during yesterday's livestream. For anyone who missed it: Act 6 is getting a full re-tune on October 8th, with updated or removed nodes, re-tuned bosses, and what they’re calling “enormous” reward boosts. Plus, everyone who’s already completed Act 6 will be getting compensation, and there’s even a special profile pic for those who finished it pre-nerf.

So yeah, apparently my random decision to revisit Act 6 aged like fine wine. I was just trying to relive some nostalgia, and now it turns out I might actually walk away with some modern rewards for my effort.

Saying there is a rebalance program and it deciding Serpent did not need a nerf was the death of any trust the community still had. Anything after that is just more of the same.

I am a senior citizen playing this game. I’m ranked #10 globally, not because of my skills (seniors like me suffer from slow reflexes), but because I spend a fair bit of money on this game. It is not fair that a small group (no matter how small) of people get a ‘windfall’ just for the mistakes of Kabam. It makes me think if it is worthwhile to continue supporting this game.

This is an excellent suggestion which aligns well with Kabam’s intention for these milestones, which is to encourage people to play the GC early in the season. Just need to keep the same timers on them.
