Re: Team recommendation for the Ordeal
Now that I've done the quest I'll just mention who I used for each fight because A LOT of the guides recommend deathless She-hulk or Thanos which I don't have (and suspect 90% of players won't have going into this):
My team:
- Onslaught R3 (unduped)
- Serpent R3 (unduped)
- Kushala R3 (duped)
- Mr Sinister R2 (unduped)
- Spider-Man R1 (duped)
1. Dr Doom:
Used Onslaught, solo, just avoid blocking/parry. It's a very slow fight so be patient.
2. Terrax:
Used Kushala SP1 and 2 to melt his health, cost 1 revive because of the rock field damage. Try to be aggressive and keep him between 2-3 bars of power in rock field mode.
3. Vision:
This fight was the reason I brought in Spiderman, not ideal and a waste of a slot really, but you need taunt because Vision uses his specials in order so the SP3 will kill you. Didn't have a better taunt counter and I saw on a Youtube commend section that Photon's taunt on SP2 doesn't work here, so glad I didn't bring her for this in the end.
4. MODOK:
Serpent cheese, make use of those lovely unblockable specials. Standard MODOK fight just beware of his unblockable SP1.
5. Spider-Ham:
Serpent cheese, use one SP1 to get true focus and ignore the evade. Gains a lot of power so be patient and bait his Sp1s.
6. Weapon X:
Used Mr Sinister classically, solo, just got to make sure to keep Wolverine against the wall before he goes unblockable to give yourself as much time as possible to run out his rage mode (or whatever its called).
7. Thing:
Sinister cheese, just play carefully around those rock stacks.
8. Korg:
Mr Sinister was the MVP here, just be careful that Korg will shrug your stuns/parry often and randomly, so give it a second before striking after parrying. Try to knock down regularly to remove the flux 'damage reduction' charges on Korg otherwise you'll be doing no damage. Cost me 3 revives because I was a bit careless.
9. Dragonman:
This fight was very frustrating, cost me around 6 revives. Used Kushala to try and nullify the power gain and melt his health slowly with incinerates. It's just a game of whether the AI decides to throw specials or not and unfortunately lately this has been a prominent issue (AI just refuses to throw specials, especially in BGs...Kabam).
10. Black Panther Civil War:
Serpent cheese, BP switches between having regeneration and unblockable at the same time, or evade and unstoppable at the same time, so be careful of the unblockable, and just dance around until the unstoppable/evade goes away.
11.Nightcrawler:
Serpent cheese, use one SP1 and NC can't evade.
12. Spidergwen:
Supposed to be a serpent cheese but I messed up and used a revive. Use one sp1 to remove evade.
13. Domino:
Kushala cheese, just a standard domino fight really but you get a bar of power whenever domino actives a special so the fight goes rather quick.
14. Mojo:
A character that is immune to buffs will work wonders here, unfortunately I didn't have one so Mojo would put a buff on me and I would die to degen over and over. Used about 5 revives. Sinister was the MVP with his degen damage.
15. Ibom:
Used 5 revives because I ran out of health potions and was working with little 20% revives so had little health. The poison damage is nasty so be quick to use an SP1 from Mr Sinister to get rid of it.
16. Apocalypse:
Took 1 revive, used serpent, just a standard Apoc fight really. Try to push him to SP2 as it is easier to evade. Maybe Kushala would have been better because she regens block damage but mine was knocked out already before this fight.
17. Sasquatch:
I raged so much on this fight. Once you get him to 40% HP he starts to regenerate a tonne. I kept using Kushala for some reason hoping her sig (which reduces regen rate per debuff) would be enough but it definitely wasn't. Nearly gave up thinking I wasted all my time but someone on discord recommended onslaught, and his debuffs (coupled with despair mastery) shut down the regen. I wish I knew this before wasting 10+ revives on Kushala but shows a lack of game knowledge that I will learn from for the future.
18. Killmonger:
An incredibly slow fight with onslaught, you gain no power so have to keep on baiting specials and hitting KM in openings. Took easily over 300 hits and I died a few times (can't play perfectly for long periods) but have to be patient.
19. Void:
A serpent/onslaught cheese, make sure to dash back whenever you get a weakness debuff on you and remove any debuffs for every 10 hits in your combo.
20. Nick Fury:
Can't remember if I used onslaught or sinister here but it was a solo, just a standard NF fight.
21. Thanos:
Super easy with serpent, just stay back after thanos uses a special attack and wait for the timer on him to expire (one is bleed I can't remember the other). He has (4?) phases based on his health bar, first one nothing happens, second one he can only reach 1 bar of power, third he can only reach 2 bars, and four he slowly gains power up to 3 bars. He is quite passive in the fourth phase so you can hit him against the wall even when he has 3 bars of power but depends how generous the AI feels I suppose. In the fourth phase if he touches you (even in block) you die instantly. Cost me 2 revives.
Overall not a bad quest, less intense than epoch but Sasquatch, dragoman, mojo, korg and ibom were frustrating roadblocks for me. Better game knowledge would have saved me a tonne of resources on Sasquatch. MVP was Serpent for sure. Sinister second, and Onslaught third.

Re: HEART OF FIRE - CHECK IN!
What Is Going On Summoners!
The Heart of Fire has opened its doors for about 48 hours now, and I've been hearing that Rank Up button click all across the Battlerealm -
So far, how are we feeling about this event?
Were the RNG Gods on your side - did you pick up any fun new 7 Stars? Any exciting new Rank Ups?
Let me know down below!
my ticket to kabam, and the response is mentioned below.. its long but trust me its fun
Dear Team,
I went ahead and maxed out in all milestones from this event and this is my results
Opened 175 Hof crystals (few paragons I do not remember how many maybe 15)
I purchased all your valiant HOF delas in game for cash. spend approx. 500 usd and 11k units is saved up for quite some time.
My pulls were ,
1 7-star immortal abomination from Valient HOF
1 7-star Colossus from Valient HOF
From the 7-star guaranteed HOF crystal,( I opened 4 – 3 from milestones 1 from web store for 80usd)
3-time immortal abomination !!!!!!
1-time tigra
That's it this is the max results I received after opening 175 crystals.
Whereas my alliance mate who is at below 300 points in the same event pulled (I can share his in-game id if you need)
7 star nick fury 2 times from Valient HOF
7 star Fam 1 times form Valient Hof
7 star apoc 2 times from Valient
This is 5 7 star pulls from 100- 125 valiant Hof crystals
How can you justify this is a fair distribution on rewards. We both are endgame players and see the huge inequality the In the rewards even though I maxed out the event I still miss 2 champions from the pools
How much this is going to affect my game progression . I decided to spend in this event to not to lose relevancy in the current meta.
Still I ended up burning my cash and left with lot of disappointment
Now I want to understand you statement on fair distribution of game resources,, is this the way you call it fair..? even after paying for the full milestone, I am left with nothing but a 10 years’ worth disappointment .
I am requesting you to take back by 3 times duped immortal abomination and give at least 1 Guaranteed 7-star HOF as a compensation for the poor quality of the crystals .
Or I would like to return all my items received from the event for a reimbursement due to the poor quality of the items .
If this is not possible, can you just make a statement against my below query ,
Getting 2 7 star from 175 crystals is normal ..?
Getting same campion 3 times out of 4 times from a pool of 5 champions is normal… ?
Faithfully,
A very much disappointed summoner.
AN THE GREAT EVER RESPOSNSE FROM KABAM SUPPORT
Hello Summoner,
We understand you would like compensation or to be reimbursed for the items you received. Please note that Kabam Support is unable to provide compensation or reimburse any items as it would override intended game design.
To reiterate additional context, I would like to share some of the core aspects of Crystals and their functionality:
The Crystal carousel spin animation is just an animation and does not represent all available rewards or how close you may have gotten.
All rolls are done server-side. This is to ensure that you will still get the rewards if an unforeseen crash or freeze happens during a Crystal opening.
All Summoners have the same Crystal drop rates, no account-related statuses (level, alliance, the amount spent, etc. ) will ever affect these.
Each Crystal is a new Crystal upon opening, meaning that previously opened crystals do not affect your drop rates.
The drop rates shown are based on that Crystal alone.
These drop rates do not convey the drop rates of multiple Crystals being opened.
Only Featured Hero Crystals will have specific Champion drop rates. For Non-Featured Hero Crystals, all Champions will have the same drop rates.
With that said, Kabam Support is unable to provide further assistance regarding your drop rate concern. As there is nothing more to address in this ticket, this ticket is now solved.
Thank you again for contacting Kabam Support.
Best regards,
xxx ( i removed support person name)
Kabam Support
what do forum say about this ...? do you guys think this is normal..?
my friend is a regular spender in the game and i am like once in a while spender. even though we are at the same level in game progression, i believe our drop rates are completely in different word. i believe kablam is having 2 pools for featured crystals one for spender another face slap for F2P players

Re: One-Off Stat Focuses
Msd did a series on stat focus for 7 stars by classI’m going to make an excel spreadsheet for every champ by class for stat focuses and relics so people don’t have to scroll through vids

Re: How many of the 6 HoF champions did you manage to get
I got all of them duped except apoc. Tigra, Fam and apoc from valiants. Tigra dupe, ibom and fury from the 7* crystals. Fam dupe from the selector, skill awakening gem on fury and used to HoF gem on ibom.
Re: How many of the 6 HoF champions did you manage to get
Got every one of them duped. Managed to pull iBom twice from valiant crystals, NF and Abom once from valiant crystal, and Tigra from a paragon crystal. Very lucky and very pleased.

Re: How many of the 6 HoF champions did you manage to get
Pulled apoc and fury from valiants and duped apoc from the first guaranteed crystal lol. That's when I decided that it wasn't worth any more money for me personally lmao.
Re: How many of the 6 HoF champions did you manage to get
6/6
5 fo 6 awakened (no Apoc dupe) Given how bad my Titan luck is, I had to spend almost 40k units to feel like I could get desirable champs apparently

Re: How many of the 6 HoF champions did you manage to get

Re: How many of the 6 HoF champions did you manage to get
I got lucky and pulled a 7* Fantman. Missed out on the 7*s from Omega Days so this feels pretty nice.
