I'll take this huge W. I'm cutting back on my spending so I went the FTP route and did the solo events only (Moonshot ➡️ Sunstorm ➡️ Fenix Force) And this is my stop. I have a Skill AG, and will use it on Fury IF/WHEN I have to. Not rushing to use him right now.
I want Dark Phoenix, but I'm not whaling out on this event.
The only champion I want is FAM, and I got him right away with only two valiant crystals. That’s all I want, so I stopped spending money on it.

Cool. Time for my R4 Hood to come out and play.Depends on how tough the quest is to get her. If just one fight/straightforward, then yes. If not and it will take any real time I’ll do it this weekend. I’ve got the 75 for the run, just more of a question of time.
Should only be Dark Phoenix, no other defenders.

I got my boy FAM, that's really all that matters for me.
Immediately used him for the dimensional beings necro challenge and he crushed it.
The 6* got me through Acts 6-8, and now I can ride the 7* for what's next. So I'm a happy camper.

I thought it great. I think we should be allowed to keep using the same champion if we want but other than that, it was good.Nah, wouldn't really test roster breadth. The champion swap isn't in place to help us. It's to force us to use 15 different champs.

I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger this AM.
I had better luck on my Valiants this time around (had only pulled 2 7*’s out of my first 120 crystals, so well below average - and no good ones). This time I pulled 4, which is slightly above average for 80 crystals and puts me right on for the full 200. 2 of the 4 were dupes that I didn’t care about, but I got a new NTW and duped my Apoc, which I’m happy about.
So, here was the new champ result for today:
Used the event AG on Fantman and took him to sig 91. Used my skill AG on Fury and took him to Sig 40. Took Dark Phoenix to sig 70, and Tigra to sig 50.
Also then used my generic AG to awaken my Red Guardian and took him to sig 17, but then ran out of stones. Will take him to sig 40 to start.
Going to rank Fury to R3 and Fantman to R4 later today. Tigra is already R3.
Units down to 7831 so need to get to grinding for July 4th. Want to get back to at least 15k by then.

Re: Is it possible to reach valiant by never opening a crystal?
As a brief update I got 9.1 down. It was a slog without relics, Orochi boss wasn’t too bad just slow played it with sinister, kept my health up with sp1 and ignored the punish heavy gimmick. The paths were a drag though.
Seems pointless going further on story as will just accumulate items I can’t use until I get 7* somehow to push to valiant.
Will just explore lower act now and hope for some unit based selectors over the summer.
I thought another 7* avenue might be ultron from raids boxes but not sure if that reward is valiant only?
@Toproller89 @Toyota_2015 @Braga_Rhun i sent you invites to my bigger ally in case you wanted to bump the rewards up. It’s semi active mainly for banquet but would be a decent jump.

My alliance plays AW for fun (I mean, we have to, coz a day of superdaily event almost pays more than a whole season for us).
But we do it coz it's the only mode we really come together as a team and use our rosters to the best of the team.

Silk. Bishop and Cyclops are both good. If you don’t have sinister, he is a very good bullseye counter, if not, go with bishop. Can’t go wrong with either really. You’ll get r2 materials back easier nowadaysI alr have r3 sinister, was my 2nd r3 for valiant

As long as the controller can connect to your computer, yes, it should be fine.
