Survival Guide - Dimensional Arcade / Concert of Champions
Before anything else: this is not a review post.
There are already plenty of those, and the feedback is overwhelmingly negative anyway. This post exists for one reason only:
How to clear all Dimensional Arcade milestones (≈800 units + shards) in the most efficient, least rage-inducing way possible.
If you hate this mode but still want the rewards without throwing your phone at a wall, this is for you.
⸻
TL;DR Strategy (Read This First)
• Mute the game. Do not play with sound.
• Unlock everything first (all characters + all maps).
• Do all character objectives on the easiest map only.
• Use Dazzler for everything else.
• Ignore how Kabam suggests you play this mode — it’s slower and more painful.
⸻
Step 1: TURN OFF THE SOUND (Seriously)
This mode plays like a bad Guitar Hero clone.
• Inputs are laggy
• Audio does not sync properly with inputs
• The music actively throws your timing off
Put your phone on silent.
Ignore the music completely. Watch the input prompts only.
This single change will save you an absurd amount of frustration.
⸻
Step 2: Unlock All Characters & Maps (Do This First)
Do one run per stage using Dazzler to unlock everything.
This will cost 4 Arcade Tokens total and unlock:
• All maps
• All characters:
• Dazzler (starter)
• Star-Lord
• Spider-Punk
• Guillotine
Full disclosure: I spent £19.98 on Arcade Tokens to test this so others don’t have to.
Worst £19.98 I’ve ever spent — but at least the community gets a clean route through this nonsense.
Once this is done, stop progressing normally. That’s the trap.
⸻
Step 3: Clear ALL Character Objectives the Easy Way
Each character has objectives for 10 completed runs.
Do NOT do these on harder maps.
Just run the first map (Dance Floor) over and over.
What to do:
• Run Dance Floor
• 10 times per character
• Use all 4 characters
That’s it.
Yes, it’s repetitive.
Yes, it’s boring.
But it’s the lowest-stress, lowest-failure-rate option.
Total cost: 40 Arcade Tokens
Total reward: All character-based shard objectives cleared
Input Tip:
Ignore the chaos on screen.
Look at the bottom of the screen for:
• Tap
• Swipe up
• Swipe down
• Hold
With sound off, it’s manageable.
⸻
Step 4: Use ONLY Dazzler for Everything Else
Once character objectives are done:
• Do not use the other characters again
• They’re harder
• They don’t justify the effort
• Any multiplier benefit isn’t worth the frustration
Why Dazzler?
• She regenerates hearts
• She’s extremely forgiving
• It’s hard to actually die
• Best character for grinding multiplier
Complete all remaining maps and objectives using Dazzler only.
Yes, the multiplier system is dumb.
Yes, it takes time.
But this is still the fastest way overall.
⸻
Time Investment (Be Realistic)
My total time:
• ~1 hour 20 mins → Character objectives (10 runs each)
• ~2.5–3 hours → All remaining maps/objectives with Dazzler
Total: ~4–5.5 hours
It’s a grind.
It’s not fun.
But it works.
⸻
Final Notes
• Don’t play this mode “as intended”
• Don’t play with sound
• Don’t bounce between characters
• Don’t overcomplicate it
If you’re free-to-play and want:
• ~800 units
• Crystal shards
• Titan shards
…this is the least painful route through Dimensional Arcade.
Again: not a review.
Just a survival guide.
Good luck - and may your phone (and your sanity) survive the experience. ✌🏽
Re: celestial players, tell us the keys to hitting celestial
He hit Mysterium in the previous season, and the one before that too, so no.>> this is not about rosters or rankupsThe ones that are saying you only need skill without heavy spending and citing Nick as an example, arent taking into consideration that last meta was more friendly to smaller decks and was more draft dependent based on who pulled the top attackers which included 6* like Kate. In a regular meta he most likely wouldn't be able to repeat or he would have a much more difficult time doing so.
And that's where you're wrong. Very often the winner will be defined by who has more top defenders, who drafts more annoying defenders, who has new shiny counter for some difficult fight, who has higher rank defender and wins his fight faster. The only possible scenario where you win vs stronger opponent is when you get more luck in draft phase (but it's never just luck, it depends on your deck), or when your opponent doesn't know how to play well (but again, why would somebody who doesn't know how to play the game spend thousands of dollars on it)
Re: So… do we just have to accept how “overly intelligent” the AI behaves in this game now?
I admit I could’ve worded this post a bit better, and I also could’ve brought up more concrete examples- but that’s besides the point, just like most of your responses under this post.
Calling someone out due to their account size, and saying their opinion is invalid due to that? Calling someone a monkey because they disagree?
Riddle me this Batman, why would anyone take anything you say seriously- when almost all your responses here are insulting someone? Or boasting about how “large” your account is?
Also, I did quit the game. I quit the game for almost 2 whole years- which is why I was so baffled the A.I. still had these glaring issues; where they are overly intelligent in some scenarios.
I’d have responded to you earlier, but I honestly forget I even made a post- as I rarely come on here anymore. Sometimes just to see what others are thinking. That’s pretty much it.
Play nice.
Re: Kabam, are you so afraid of players feedback that you simply delete discussions?
Unfortunately, I cannot delete this discussion. But it is obviously wrongly created and please accept my apologies for the words above.
Re: Solo Colosseum or Epoch-Style Content?
Coliseum isn't even grindy. It's 8 rotations where you take about 10 health bars each turn. Probably around 30 minutes total once every two weeks.
Not sure why we haven't had new end game content in a while. I know that WoF, even though I enjoyed it, was probably a failure due to all the complaints from lesser players.
Re: What ever this new *** hero knockoff thing is, it ain't working Kabam.
i wouldn't mind the game mode personally if it didn't feel like i had to play it for the units. It also wouldn't be so bad to play if it actually felt like i was going to the beat lol.
Re: What ever this new *** hero knockoff thing is, it ain't working Kabam.
I just tried it out sufficiently. I did actually prefer the old dimensional arcade. I am happier this one has less desirable rewards because I do not want to continue playing it. It's way too hard and just stressful. At one point, I found my eyes getting watery because of how little I was blinking.
Re: What ever this new *** hero knockoff thing is, it ain't working Kabam.
New game mode sucks but how many times you gonna post in this thread? Get a life, creepy middle-aged dude.
Feedback for new dimensional arcade game mode: a terrible mess
The reason being is that this game mode has once again a nice idea but very poor execution. There are times where I feel like I tap the button music and my phone either doesen't register it or gets a delay on the button. That makes it frustrating and this becomes a massive problem when we get to the third level with spider punk because it is flat out impossible for me to even make it halfway through the song without losing all my hearts because everything goes by so fast that I end up losing control of the song.
With the fantastic four minigame from last year I was flout out not enjoying it because it was incredibly boring and I was sitting and just waiting to get through the battles.
In my opinion these game modes should not be given anymore. Unless kabam seriously believes that we will enjoy these game modes they should no longer be made.
To end on a positive though, I do appreciate kabam trying new things for us, but I just don't think these game modes work. I believe it's best for the game and the players that experimental game modes stays with the actual fighting of the game. I didn't give my opinion on the colisseum before so I will say it right now: It works because we get to fight with our champions.
To summarise I think we need to be able to have game modes that stay in-game. I think that's better for everybody.
