Re: Zola compensation
I wouldn't expect it for another day or two at least. They're giving it to anyone who opens a crystal by reset time on the 15th, which is another ~14.5 hrs from now, I think. They'll need time afterward to collect the data on who all to send it to, then actually send it.

Can't wait to hear the explanation for the energy one, it's one thing changing EQ completely and to a certain extent I can tolerate that one once it's balanced properly, but now you guys are going to take away elder marks and force us to use energy in BGs too? How are we expected to do all content on a daily basis without buying units? Furthermore how are we supposed to save up units for the sales which happen basically once every three months when we're going to have to spend them on energy. I don't see how there could be a reason OTHER THAN monetization.
Re: Let’s talk crashed
Hey Kabam!
Congratulations! The past week have shown me that Kabam doesn't care anymore.
Killed energy. even now saying you're:
- taking the Energy Refills from 4 hour crystals (that aren't 4 hours anymore BTW so why call them that?) But giving back in a Super Alliance Weekly Event that everyone has hated for the most part - definitely not celebrated like the SOLO DAILY always has been.
- REMOVING ELDER MARKS which will not require ENERGY
- wanting us to do the Daily quests which eat up an entire energy allotment (in before the people saying "you don't have to do it")
- Titan ERROR you all made and HORRIBLE compensation which screams Consumer Protection Act (or similar for your country) violation
- Game running horrible
- 9.3 Boss Black Screen solution to just QUIT and subsequently DIE that run causing us to use REVIVES
- Nodes constantly taking away what makes champs and OUR MASTERIES useful because some sweaty try-hards think that makes the game fun… (NEWS FLASH: It doesn't for the majority of players)
- EQ way over tuned which required you to have it corrected mid-Month after I'm sure data showed many less played than you hoped and based on prior EQs. *This basically PROVED proper testing is not done anymore if it ever was prior!*
A game like this is typically shown as being BOTH profitable IN ADDITION to PLAY TIME PER USER to your shareholders.
You have killed majority of us spending time on your game with the Eenrgy debacle now and I'm happy to say not only will I not be spending anymore including Cyber Weekend, I will now start winding down my tike in game after 9+ years with intention to be DONE by January 2026.
Congratulations, you have now made this game a chore and no longer fun. I hope you get aa much cash you need before it's done in the near future. Just remember, you did it in 3025 by the multitude of horrible decisions and not listening to feedback. You only do the bare minimum (if that) when we get upset and definitely don't make it better or equal to what we always expected.

Re: Let’s talk crashed
As a 10 year+ player, my over riding emotion right now is just sadness.
I’m sad the game I enjoy seems to be sliding away, I’m sad the game team (who obviously care) don’t seem capable of maintaining the game, I’m sad the wider community aren’t engaged with at an acceptable level, and I’m sad I’m not able to enjoy the game I once loved.
Re: I just think it's funny how
Justice delayed is justice denied.
As I said earlier to you @GroundedWisdom - Be a Man ! Do the right thing !
Stop with the glazing
Re: Energy Economy Suggestions
Honestly, the entire concept of energy is outdated.
Any company, not just Kabam, is saying "we really want you to play our game, but only in limited amounts for free, otherwise pay us".
Don't get me wrong, I completely understand any company needs to make money to exist, but it doesn't have to be from simply playing the base content.
As an example, Guild Wars 2 makes the vast majority of their money from the cash shop which is all cosmetic stuff. They do not have a monthly subscription like many MMOs do (or did). I still spent more a month on that game on optional purchases than what a normal monthly sub would have cost.
The same is true for my spending in MCOC. I spend on stuff I choose to, which often includes crazy sales I shouldn't spend on but do anyway. I do not, and will not, spend money either directly on the Energy Card or indirectly by getting refills with Units.
I am not crazy enough to think they will just get rid of energy, I know better than that, but I don't think most people were ever saying "man I have too much energy this is a bad thing".
Now, they could take the approach of another Marvel phone game and you just build up extra energy over the limit, so that any refill you got never went wasted. They could also make it so refills don't expire so even if we get less of them we don't have to worry about when/how to use them.
There are ways to solve this, but limiting the amount we get while increasing the required daily spend is not going to end well.
Re: Apropos of Nothing...
Kabam is a subsidiary of Netmarble and brings in about 10% of Netmarble's total revenue.
I believe Netmarble purchased Kabam back in 2016, but I could be wrong about that date.
Honestly, I should probably buy some Netmarble shares for my stock portfolio.
I've been playing an offseason BG match once a day for the last 5 days and all of my opponents had an R4 Silver Samurai.
Business is booming at Kabam, that's for sure.
