Summoner: Declassified - Reward Issue Fix

Greetings Summoner!

An issue was discovered with this month’s Side Quest, “Summoner: Declassified” where instead of giving out Desperate Measures Crystal shards, our May 2025 crystal, the in-map rewards were giving out shards of our March 2025 crystal. This has been corrected and all players will now be able to collect the full amount of Desperate Measure Crystal Shards as intended.

However, as a result of this fix, we are unable to have the rewards respawn up to 4 times each week as originally intended. Instead we have made each detour reward worth 4x its original value. This means that all 4 respawns worth of rewards each week can be collected in a single play through. This will also be the case for the remaining weeks of this Side Quest.

Summoners who completed the map prior to this change will need to re-play the map and defeat the bosses in order to receive these corrected rewards, but as stated will only need to do so one time to receive the full rewards.

Thank you to those who reported the issue and for your patience while resolving it.

Re: Goodbye MCOC (not a rant post)

This is not an upset post because of rng lol. I just wanted to share my thoughts before I exit and possibly not look back. I have played this game continuously since launch. I have seen a lot of change in the game both good and bad. I’ve taken small breaks here and there, but pretty consistently stayed true to MCOC throughout it’s active lifespan. I think Banquet 2024 was when I really started reflecting and realizing that the games lifespan may just be longer than my own will to play. 2025 has been my lowest activity yet in general and I think it’s just time to retire. I gave up on the grind and no longer wish to be competitive. after I 100% 9.2 I don’t have much I want to do. I gave up on Everest content after Abyss and I vowed to not spend any more money on this game after banquet, so this new event was kind of a nail in the coffin for me. It is always frustrating to not get what I want and yes, my free valiant crystals were duds, but I wasn’t even upset anymore, I have accepted it. I’m not willing to invest my money into the game so I can’t expect a great return of investment. My progress has plateaued and i’m watching my peers and alliance mates grow to the point I can no longer hang with them. So a genuine farewell is in order, I will do my best not come back but the game is addictive and very memorable so we will see. Best of luck all. This is a throwaway forum account, my main forum account got banned long ago lol.

Sad to see you go! Hopefully you'll still peek your head in here and there to see what we're up to. Our roadmap is only just getting started with some exciting stuff in the future. So hopefully when you do get the feeling to enter the Battlerealm once more, there will be some new things that might capture your attention!
