Re: I hadn’t planned to go all in on HoF, but now I’m seriously considering it. Should I?
I wanted fury. Planned to use the selector on him… had the units. Had a skill awakening gem for him if I pulled someone else.Wow that’s seriously impressive RNG luck. I probably wouldn’t even be here in the forums asking if I had gotten that lucky. Congrats!
Well, I got him real early. And decided, the new goal was dark phoenix.
My luck didn’t run out, it kept going.
I now have:
Apoc unawakened
R1 sig 20 Tigra (I can’t play her)
R1 sig 20 iBom
R3 Sig 100 Fantman
R3 Sig 120 Dark Phoenix
R4 Sig 20 Nick Fury
And added Shuri along the way (had yet to get her amazingly)
I don’t regret one unit.
Re: I hadn’t planned to go all in on HoF, but now I’m seriously considering it. Should I?
Thanks - yes I’m aware that NF isn’t going to be a top tier BG defender if I R4 him. Honestly I may end up R4ng FAM instead. My main desire for NF is questing/synergies/nostalgia. Occasional use in BGs but I generally play at the lower tiers anyway so.Just as an fyi, I don't know if you want NF for other reasons, but if it's mainly as a BG defender, I was watching some streams yesterday and an R4 NF sig 60 wasn't as tanky as I would've expected. If you're asking then you're not absolutely sure you need one of these HOF champs, and if you're not sure, then it's totally not worth it.I’m asking more because I had mentally locked in to NOT going for it on this, but am now thinking it makes more sense to do. Want to make sure I’m not deluding myself/responding to the moment.
Because even the rank up gems and sigs will be limited to these HOF champs, whereas the J4 deals will have more options.
I invested in HOF but only because FAM has deep nostalgic value for me as I basically used him to get through Acts 6-8.
Fury is not quite as strong for me as FAM is for you, but awfully close.
I think I’m going to give myself the weekend / early next week to further consider it, but based on the input from everyone I’m more strongly leaning towards going for it.
People were still getting high 40k scores using various R3 attackers.
Everyone knows how to fight him, that's the main issue...
Re: I need some weird 6* rank up ideas
Decided to put it all in a Wheel of Names, and here's what I got-

This is your fault, @willrun4adonut . Gonna do beast because I already have a Skill oddball.
Will report back once done

Re: I need some weird 6* rank up ideas
Dr voodoo is still good. His damage is fine and utility is great. He fell off for no apparent reason imo.
Fury 7*
Hello all,
With focalisation for NF ?
(Yes I’m the happy owner of a NF duped 7* 🎉)

Thank in advanced

Re: I WAS WRONG ABOUT YELENA
@Demonzfyre You didn’t read what I said properly. I said she is the most bland looking when it comes to her outfit and abilities/powers, or lack there of.
About her being ‘well written’ though…. she isn’t well written. How does Yelena go from finding out that Hawkeye isn’t the one who killed her Sister Natasha, which means that Valentina Allegra De Fontaine lied to her about who killed her sister… then in her next appearance in Thunderbolts, she is working for the woman that lied to her without any mention, reference or interaction covering the fact that she lied… which would absolutely cause tension between them to say the least. Yelena also didn’t react to the death of Female Taskmaster at all, even though Yelena and Taskmaster had the same horrible childhood. Yelena would relate with Female Taskmaster because they both went though so much torture. Yelena would hate to see Female Taskmaster go out like that, right in front of her. Her sister Natasha literally saved Female Taskmaster because she had so much guilt for what she did to her, and Natasha wanted the best for her. But in Thunderbolts, Yelena has no care or reaction to the fact that she just saw Female Taskmaster get shot in the dome right in front of here….
Calling Yelena ‘well written’ is laughable. She may be written better than most of the characters in the current MCU…. but is that really saying much? Nah.
