If you did the Objectives, the eggs will be in your Crystal Vault.
If your game crashed and you can't find the eggs, send a message to Support and they'll be able to assist.

This is what happens when introverts gathers in one place. I'm the opposite, I'd really appreciate it if no one talks to me so I can conserve my social energy. Hahaha.

Cheers to you and your son, though. Hope you can still find enjoyment in the community. Despite a handful of oddballs, this community is really one of the best.

Seemed to work for me against a Yelena. I would build her up to around 90ish combo meter and then use my S2 to consume all of it.

Where are you noticing the issue? I'm wondering if something is going on that's reducing your ability accuracy.

EDIT: You said you were using it when they were over 100 combo meter. However, he only grants them a combo shield when they are under 100 combo meter. I'm wondering if you are letting them get too much combo meter and actually knocking the combo off before the special can consume it.
