Which two champs should I R3 to become valiant?
Which two champs should I bring to rank 3? Right now all of them are rank 1. I have one basic 1-2 rank up gem and one cosmic 1-2 rank up gem, but I’m unsure about committing to BRB.
My champs are: Bullseye, Sunspot, Photon, Beta ray bill, Nick Fury, Shuri, Crossbones, Wong, Morbius, Rocket Racoon, Thing, Hood, Colossus, and Sandman.

Re: Best Champs for the Ordeal?

I'm done. Units and resources drained (was stubborn in trying to focus on using Sinister for NF, but Venom was so much better, and died during the transition from phase 2-3 for Thanos, so that was not fun), but it was worth it.
I really appreciate the feedback and support. That made a significant difference. That's something this community is supposed to be about and we don't always get it. Shout out to ItsClobberinTime for the ongoing advice. Means more than I can say.
No hesitation pulling WWBN. Gonna go to at least r2 for now. Struggled in deciding between Yelena and Jess, but I have a stacked science roster at r2 -3 (Photon-3, Titania-3, Hulk-3, Silk-3, Ham-2, DSH-2, Nefaria-2) (Luke and Punk are r1 right now) and only 3 skills champs at the same ranking (bullseye-2, Chee'ilth-2, and Shang Chi-3). I also need to diversify my defenders for BG's.
Wanted to save radiance for deathless pieces (need 1 for vision and 3 for KG), but I may play the long game with that one and just get as many resources now to rank up some champs, especially YB.
Once again, much appreciated, and the support is something I won't forget as I start to wind down my time with MCOC. Everything for necropolis is done, except the deathless run. Ordeal is done. I have the champs for at least 5 of the 6 Epoch lanes (I actually think I have the right ones for all 6, but will check Noob's videos again). I'm not touching WOF. After Epoch, maybe even before, I will call time on this journey. All the best to you all and God bless.
Re: Webstore Market Loyalty
Splurging out $500 or so on a yearly event like 4th July (which is a sizeable amount of money that people do reasonably spend) should be enough to qualify for one of these bonus emotes. Shouldn't need to do 4 of these events to just get 1...(For the people that do want these emotes).

Re: When is 7 star arena coming?
There are no plans to introduce 7-star arenas. I won't say "never", because you never know, but I wouldn't hold your breath.Ok cool! Thank you @KabamCrashed and @DNA3000 for the insight. Looking forward to the next work/content. Have a good day
That doesn't however mean there won't be other systems for sourcing new champions. Next month for instance we are experimenting with our first ever Side Quest that will have a competitive element where the top prize is the new 7-star champion. We have also been discussing other options to experiment with, though these are not imminent. Right now it's just an experiment.
JUNE SIDE QUEST - VAULTS OF VARIANCE
While researching new arrivals Nico and Karolina who managed to wander INTO The Contest, Reed Richards wanted to see if it was possible to recreate that mix of mystical and cosmic chaos to EXIT The Contest. While his findings were not conclusive, he did manage to open limited access to nearby pocket-dimensions which all contain vicious variants of the Fantastic Four themselves. These anomalies will require careful research and guarding.

Centrifugal Mutilation: A Wheel of Fate Quest 3 guide
Welp, here we are. Final guide for the Wheel of Fate. And as the title suggests, mutilation was certainly committed. Little bit by me, little bit by the defenders, so let's jump into the carnage!
The Stash:
5908 units
8 L2 revives
21 L1 revives
2 L3 revives
2 L2 team revives (again, these aren't worth the extra cost so DO NOT use these if you can help it)
8 L5 potions and 23 L3 potions
912 free crystals
Bunch of 30 minute and 1 hour boosters
Masteries:
Same as my previous runs, so no suicides with willpower. Had 3/5 mystic dispersion for Juggernaut. Max despair is VERY helpful for Serpent.
Journey to Thanos:
Fight: Gorr
My Pick: 7* R3 sig 20 Juggernaut with 6* juggernaut relic
Deaths: 0
Basically a good ole Juggs nuke fest. Spam sp2s for big damage, know how to evade Gorr's sp1 and you'll get through it. When you use your relic, make sure to land a heavy attack so you can stagger his regen for a short bit.
Fight: Dazzler
My Pick: 7* R3 unduped Serpent with 5* ms marvel relic
Deaths: 0
Serpent's true focus completely counters the dazzling dash, so throw a special and then you can freely intercept to get rid of the dynamo charges. Bait sp1 at all costs and try to spam your sp1 to deal damage if you can help it.
Fight: Lady Deathstrike
My Pick: 7* R2 sig 60 Knull with 4* venom relic
Deaths: 1
NOTE: Was running 30 minute attack, health and champion boosters from this point on
Knull completely counters Deathstrike's armor ups so this one isn't too bad. Spam heavies while ramping up and spam sp3 to keep your corruption up. Time your dashes with the power timer and this one isn't too hard, did mess up here though.
Fight: Enchantress
My Pick: 7* R2 unduped Luke Cage with no relic
Deaths: 2
Play around the spells, and remember that Luke's heavy has delibitate which can counter one spell if you do mess up. Know how to evade the sp1 and you'll be fine, revive counter will greatly vary here depending on AI.
Fight: Thor Ragnarok
My Pick: 7* R2 sig 40 Angela with 4* thor relic
Deaths: 0
Very easy fight. Bait heavies to remove the brace buff when needed, and time your specials with his power gain. Stay aggressive so he doesn't hit 40 combo and you're set.
Fight: Arcade
My Pick: 7* R2 sig 80 Guilly 2099 with no relic
Deaths: 0
Do not use your pre fights here. Spam sp1 to power drain Arcade and minimize his special usage and you'll be set. Mind the stun immunity and heavy hands node and know the Arcade spacing.
Fight: Leader
My Pick: 7* R3 unduped Masacre with 5* winter soldier relic
Deaths: 0
Very easy fight, just be aware that you can't hit block too much when ramping Masacre or else you'll get your healing reversed. Stay aggressive, bait sp1 and you'll be good to go.
Fight: Bullseye
My Pick: 7* R2 unduped Jean Grey with no relic
Deaths: 0 (but damn it was close)
NOTE: Started running the big 1 hour attack, health and champion boosters from this point on
Was very worried about this fight, however Jean's force field and burst damage completely dealt with my worries. Jean doesn't counter the evade naturally, however her force field can tank a good chunk of the sp1 block damage and she can also apply delirium which reduces Bullseye's power gain. Use sp1 to ramp your neuros, then cash in on a huge sp2, and then rinse and repeat. Soloed this one by the skin of my teeth (had 3% health left), so expect a couple of revives here.
Fight: Torch
My Pick: 7* R2 sig 40 Superior Iron Man with no relic
Deaths: 0
SIM has very good incinerate resistance once he gets ramped, so just keep your buffs up and you'll be good to go. Remember to throw heavies in quick succession to minimize Torch's smoulder charges. Fire off some massive sp2s and you'll smash through this one.
Fight: Serpent
My Pick: 7* R2 sig 20 Kushala with 4* switch relic
Deaths: 1
You can block Serpent's unblockable specials with your blue dimension, so parry and keep that up at all times. I spammed sp1s to remove his power gain and keep his charges under control. Try not to dash back during Serpent's specials and you'll do okay here. Be aware of the massive power gain from the death immunity and try to have incinerates on him to counter the healing via despair. Bit of a scary one, so boost up and try to slug through it.
Fight: Spiral
My Pick: 7* R2 sig 80 Shuri with 3* hulkbuster relic
Deaths: 0
Spiral's fervors reduce the duration of your shock debuffs, however they don't affect your critical shock passives. To this end, spam sp1, mind the falter and combat deja vu, keep your passive shocks up, and make sure you're ready to deal with the automatic dancing blades if Spiral gets a special attack off. This one requires a lot of attention, so keep a good eye out and you'll be fine.
Fight: Dust
My Pick: 7* R2 sig 60 Gladiator with no relic
Deaths: 3
Spam heavies to ramp up your confidence buffs, and spam sp2 for the incinerates to counter the sand. Play around the unblockable and you'll be fine. My phone started overheating during this fight and I wasn't playing well so I died quite a bit here.
Fight: Thanos
My Pick: 7* R3 unduped Shathra with 6* switch relic
Deaths: 0
Shathra does Shathra things. Mind the reverse controls, bait sp1, and try to primarily use heavies and specials to minimize hits and prevent the unstoppable. Let the wasps do the work here and you'll be fine.
And that's it! Somehow ended up being my cheapest Wheel of Fate run!
The Final Cost:
7 L2 revives
40 free crystals for potions
Bunch of L3, L4 and L5 potions
A set each of full 30 minute and 1 hour boosters
Once again, not a single unit.
The Rewards:
Went for the Titan nexus from my selector, awakened Jack for the first time. Not bad, wanted a new champ though.
Pulled Hood from my 5 choice 7* crystal, very good.
Pulled a mystic AG from a crystal, put it into Tigra and will R3 her further down the road.
Took up Prowler with the T7 basic as my 4th R4 7*.
Opinions on this content:
I know this piece of content wasn't exactly welcomed with open arms, so I figured I'd throw my hat in the ring with my take on it.
Overall, I'm not a fan of this piece of content. While I think it was a cool idea to try and make it similar to a hard mode Crucible, I think the quest was doomed by a few things:
- Reward Distribution: There were a lot of top tier rewards (T7 basic, a full 7* AG crystal), but not much lower tier rewards which are still needed to progress (ie. lack of T6 basic and T3 alpha)
- Marketing: The quest was RIDICULOUSLY overhyped before launch. I refuse to believe that someone at Kabam thought this was the hardest quest ever made. Doesn't help that Kabam miscommunicated on the selector rewards as well.
- Repetitve and Restrictive Design: You have to deal with the exact same fights 3 times each, which makes it feel tedious and repetitive even with the gates. For those who don't have one of the few good counters, this just ends up scaring people away from this content.
- Content Niche: Following the above note, who was this even made for? I feel that the quest is very restrictive for the majority of players, and there are much easier ways to get R4 champs in this game (9.2 anyone?). Considering how fast the game's economy moves, for the people at the tippy top who have all the proper counters ranked and ready, the rewards will probably be obsolete within a couple of months anyways, especially with July 4th on the horizon.
This was content that came way too late in the game's economy and even then is still missing key resources that players need. I honestly believe that if this quest was the first way non-spenders could get a R4 7*, and if it had those additional lower tier resources, the reception would've been a lot more positive since the current design could at least be justified with the huge boost from the first non pay-walled R4.
I understand people might not agree with my sentiment, and that's fine. Just don't rip each other to pieces in the comments lol. This was meant to be a guide first and foremost.
Final Thoughts and Tips:
1. PLAN YOUR RUN. Some of these fights are very niche and can be a nightmare without the proper counters. Make sure you divvy up your champs accordingly. Fights are exactly the same as the previous 2 quests so do not expect any surprises.
2. Boost up. No need to say more.
3. Thread title may have been loosely inspired by "Aortic Desecration" by Dethklok. Love that track.
And with that, it's back to hibernation for me. Thanks for reading, and until Kabam wakes me up again, hope this helped y'all!

Re: Webstore Market Loyalty
No it’s not. One is an established service offering customers expect and are used to the other is a brand new unknown thing meant to entice new users priced in the stratosphere. That's like saying you want to meet the person for whom a free cocktail moves the needle for first class flights that cost several thousand dollars. On the one hand, no one person is going to admit that it would. On the other hand, no airline is going to find out by getting rid of it and seeing how many passengers they lose.I wanna meet the person this moves the needle for. I got the great bag of magic beans for sale.Overall, this loyalty thing is useless, dumb, and wasted the time of whoever put it together, but it doesn't fit in with monetization conversation. Is it? Suppose you wanted to make the webstore more attractive to the majority of players who currently use the in-app purchase mechanism, but you didn't want to add too much bonus stuff or units or whatever that would have a significant impact on the game economy. How would you do that?
Not sure why you are so stuck on defending what’s objectively indefensibly priced.
Re: Jack O Lantern or Bastion?
Have fun timing out in bgs I guessBulwark reduces block damage. One Inflamed can prevent the bleed damage. He doesn't counter his evade, but he doesn't need to.I think you should spend more time playing the game if you think this is trueJack is faster, but Bastion has more utility and can take a wider variety of matchups, including other problematic defenders like BullseyeIf Jack is duped he can take Bullseye too

Well this proves otherwise

Re: Webstore Market Loyalty
This game has gone downhill with all this ridiculous monetization. Who in their right mind would spend money on this? This feels like a rush to cash grab before a company goes under. Change in leadership meant change in common sense.Asking who would spend just to get the rewards is like asking who would fly hundreds of thousands of miles all over the place just to get a free first class flight. The answer is: no one, because that's not the purpose of the program. The rewards in the store are loyalty rewards for people who already spend, just like the frequent flier programs are for people who already fly. I recently booked a first class round trip flight on an airline where had I chosen to use miles it would have cost 400,000 miles. That represents almost ten years of travel for me. These kinds of loyalty program exchange rates are not uncommon, because these aren't real prices. They are redemptions for things you're already doing, and would do with or without the programs in place.
This is not a cash grab because no one is going to spend $4200 just to get a crystal, or for that matter just to get an emote. Kabam isn't going to be making significantly more money because of this program. They are rewarding people who already spend, and maybe making it a little more attractive for spenders who currently use in-app purchase to consider the slightly less convenient option of using the web store instead.
Someone would have to be a complete idiot to look at this program and think cash grab: Kabam is trying to get people to spend thousands of dollars they ordinarily wouldn't spend to get those rewards. It sounds stupid because it is stupid because no one is going to do that, nor does Kabam intend anyone to do that.
