Nothing but a skill issue. I solo him on path 5 every single war with Dust. If you can't manage the fight, use an invulnerability boost.

Do you really think there's only one way to play this game? Just tap and pray? Play against the champ correctly. The ONLY hard part about Destroyer on path 5 is him being unstoppable on his dash attack. Counter the unstoppable and he's a piece of cake. Push him purposely to SP2 only and learn how to not be a scrub and dex it. He will never hit an SP3, he will never get his power gain.

Instead of being a whiny little brat, maybe look in the mirror and recognize your own contribution to your issues.

After receiving more dislikes I decided it was time to reach my final form, so I blew out a couple more bucks and duped the final champ I was missing that wasn't awakened through the selector, and picked up Dark Phoenix as well:

I am now in fact THE final boss, but I need more dislikes and disagrees, give them to me.

First thing I wanna say is I'm glad you guys added a 6* Dark Phoenix in there so everyone could at least have the 6* even in worst case scenario, that was one of my main concerns because I didn't remember seeing anything mentioned about the 6* so when I heard about the 7* my mind just went "damn they're really locking a top defender behind a big paywall" which rubbed me the wrong way but now I don't think it's as bad as I thought. I was bummed out about Hulkling, still kind of am but it is what it is, at least we're getting Galan soon.
As for my crystal opening itself, I pulled and awakened everyone in the crystal other than Tigra and iBom through Valiant crystals alone so I'd say best luck I've ever had, it seems all that complaining worked so don't mind me when I complain about July 4th deals in two months 💀

Coming from someone who only plays 1 account: I love this game and play as much as possible. I also have work, school, and a family which prevents me from being able to keep up with all the content AND grind for units. There could have been a more middle ground way for Kabam to structure this event so you didn’t have to spend as much regardless of it being units or money
The middle ground is:

Those who have 0 units and are not willing to spend will get:
34 Cav HoF Crystals
14 Paragon HoF Crystals
4 Valiant HoF Crystals
+1,200 Units

All of those for free.

Those who spend 5,700 Units can get a guaranteed 7* Rare HoF champ which is way less than Kabam's asking price for a champ.

I didn't spend but I grinded 5,700 Units for 3 weeks anticipating this event. I got my 2nd best choice and didn't get my 1st best choice and I didn't get any 7* from the other crystals, but that's okay. My fiance got my 1st and 2nd best choice without even spending, and I'm really happy for her. I've been playing this game for years and I know it's a gacha game. The chance adds a layer of excitement as long as you know how to level your expectations. The event is relatively free, if you want Dark Phoenix, that's a different conversation. The event as a whole is fun.
Oh yeah you're right it's 100 million to a billion is the rough estimate and entitlement I've worked for everything I've ever had in my life my entire life I am now a disabled veteran that is served our country so don't talk entitlement to me
Are you a Marvel veteran? Fought Magneto during the Cold War? This isn't America and Kabam is in Canada.
@Vendemiaire how does 5700 units get you a 7* HoF? Forgive me, my math must be way off. I'm at 40 points, have opened all the free crystals, and spent 600 units already.

I would need to open 30 more crystals (30*2=60 points that I need to get HoF 7* at 100 points). I'd get four more crystals as I climb up to 100 points, so I'd be buying 26 crystals. 26 *300 units is 7800 units. What am I missing?
There are 4 crystals and 1500 units between the 40 and 100 point milestones, so deduct that from your unit spend.
