ALLIANCE WAR SEASON 59
Foreword
Hey all, and welcome to another Changelog for Season 59 of Alliance War! We’re coming off BIG THINGS and returning to our regular scheduled programming. What this means is that the map will be returning to what players are used to, and along with that, we have a new Tactic coming down the pipe to both aid Champions in bringing new challenges to the Alliance War battlefield, and to equip them to answer those challenges. Not only that, but we have some new developments to talk about in how the pool is being developed this time around, and how we plan to handle Whitelists for the next two seasons. So without further ado, let’s walk through the changes for this coming season!Timeline

White List Changes
We are experimenting with White List Changes to help address the bloat within the Tactic Champion Lists (which have started to approach nearly a third of all champions in the game and also affect Saga Champion Lists). We’ve reduced the Saga Champion Count to 47 to better highlight these Champions with the Alliance War Tactic and throughout the Fantastic Force Saga. However, this does create another design problem: how will this new list fare on the Alliance War map when Strategic Champion Bans combine with clever placement to create particularly nasty roadblocks? That’s where the White List change comes in. Because within Tactics so far, some Attack Champions hardly get used because of Blacklisting and well-targeted Bans, players often cannot use their roster investments for Alliance War, defeating the purpose of their inclusion in the pool in the first place. As part of our experiments in freshening up the Alliance War experience, we wanted to try out some new logic in how we use White Lists from Season to Season. We’re experimenting with Whitelisting all Attack Tactic Champions Season 59-60 to see how it works and how it affects the overall AW Meta and Champion Rosters for participating Alliances.
Once we compile the feedback and see what the metrics look like, we’ll see what the next steps are.
Defense Tactics
New Season, new Tactic! With the return to the larger, more complicated Map in Season 59, we want to continue the tradition of simplifying the Tactic and let these challenging nodes breathe. For the next two seasons, be ready to deal with our new Defense Tactic, FRIGHTFUL, and the new Attack Tactic, FANTASTIC!Defense: FRIGHTFUL
FRIGHTFUL - 1:
- If the Defender has the #Frightful tag, every 3 seconds the Attacker is inflicted with a Power Detonation Passive lasting 15 seconds, dealing 10% of the Defender's Base Attack when they expire.
- Note - Power Detonation deals Energy Damage upon expiring naturally. This effect is removed if the affected Champion uses a Special Attack.

RED HULK TITAN PULLS
I pulled him 3 times in a row so i stopped and waited for the update and guess whose in the first titan crystal I open. Yep. You guessed it. Oh but that's not it. I pulled him again after that. Thats 5 times. So discouraging to have built and saved these crystals for a champ who is not really relevant in the game anywhere. If Kabam is gonna put champs this caliber in the Titan then at least give them a tune up before they're introduced into the titan. The movie was a perfect opportunity to show him some love. And let me say they have done a great job buffing/ updating older champs recently for the most part. But this just sucks along with not pulling the champs i was really after after saving almost 10 titan crystals. Anyways. Kabam please do something for this guy and the champs that are being introduced as 7* that are outdated in the future. Hope no one else has luck as bad as mine.

Re: Post your titan pulls here
Got a second dupe for Hit Monkey, two dupes for Jack, one Zola, one Rintrah and now my choices with the Nexus are a dupe for Spiral, Rintrah or Hit Monkey. Haven't decided if it's going to be Spiral or Rintrah. At least I got Zola but overall the pulls are very dissappointing. Why safe for several months just to pull that. For once I'd love to get a shiny new champ like Yelena or Bastion but of course that doesn't happen.

Re: Post your titan pulls here
If you think your Titan pulls sucked, put this in your pipe and smoke it:

Re: Post your titan pulls here

No Spider-Woman or Jean…Dazzler and Zola I’m very happy with though and I avoided the duds completely. Does Dazzler need the dupe? I do have a generic but yk

Re: Post your titan pulls here
Got everyone i wanted except for Scream and yelena. Sadly also pulled Gentle which i know is good but i simply don't like playing him.

Re: Post your titan pulls here
Well that's my defense sorted...

I still have a titan nexus that I'm now debating to save for the next round. I guess I'd still like spider woman, jean, and bastion early, but I don't mind waiting on the rest tbh.
