Re: New players getting scared off?
A big part of the problem was condensing all the earlier content. Instead of having 4 acts 4 chapters and 6 quests each, slowly building up as you learn the game, it's now way less. That and so much stuff being handed with little to no explanation. I wouldn't be surprised if you have guys with 6*s/7*s in act 4 or 5 that don't know what parry or Dex are.
Poker Game Mode Leaderboard Success Story
Guys I made it to the top 200!! What a grind it was for 3 weeks! In week 1 I scored 930k points to get into the top 10 spot and got 12th (that gave me 10 points), I felt really bad at first but decided to do everything to get within the top 200!
Then I started sending friend requests to those who got in the top 200 and the top 100 in week 1 and got a rough idea about the cutoffs.
I strategically scored 205k on week 2 to get into the top 1%. That gave me 7 points.
Then on week 3, I grinded everything to get the units and planned to score above 400k points to get into the top 100 for 10 points. So in week 3 I scored 440k points but unfortunately placed 103rd!! Man this one stinked quite a bit cause it gave me only 8 points! So in total I got like 25 points. I was really stressed thinking if I'll make it in the top 200!
Then kabam dropped the leaderboard and I got 138th place! Man I was so happy seeing I finally made it!!

Who said I'm jealous of anyone's phone? I only mentioned it because it was crucial to have a high-end device to cut down on load times during those speedruns. Doesn't mean it was an impressive feat either, and I would know because I did that legend run too.

Knowing kabam? 6 months later and it'll already be outdated again on day 1.Definitely never expecting great value from the mysterium store, but if they're just going to work backwards they might as well just get rid of it. The update already wasn't much, but reducing mysterium on top of it is severe regression.

Like the structure of the quest. I think they finally fine tuned that. But yea, magneto with only tech champs is a premium douchetastic move
