I thoroughly enjoy solo coliseum (except the most recent fight) and completely loathe alliance coliseum. It comes across as buy your way to the top and really does nothing to hide that intention. There has to be a better way to farm level-up materials for that mode or it will die a very quick death.

When end game players are making spreadsheets to plan out a monthly event quest that is supposed to keep players engaged, something is wrong.

If it’s supposed to be a game for obviously highly elite players like popcorn, then enjoy it while it lasts.

If you think a small group of high spenders during big events are 100% carrying this game, you’re very wrong.

Engagement is what sells this game and keeps it going.

Lose that and it’s just going to be a handful of people trying to outspend each other.

Nobody else is sticking around for that.

I'm advocating for myself. If you actually listened to my issue with the EQ instead of trying to minimize it, you'd know that. I've been saying all along. I used to enjoy doing EQ. The last iteration was miserable. Your attitude is "Like it or lump it.". Dismissive. I'm quite aware I have the choice to do Classic. I don't need you to tell me that.

The issue is it is overboard like it is last month. I responded to your comment that it's boring. I said I disagree. That doesn't mean you have to belittle people who don't see things your way. That's on you.

That's quite alright with me. I'm tired of people jumping on anyone who has an issue with difficulty because they think they should just get used to it or not do it. I'm willing to bet if they changed it, it was partly because the data showed people dropping off from it, not just because I was vocal about it. It's a fine line. When you make something too hard, you run the risk of ruining it.

EQ isn't end-game content. It's something people do month after month.

If you’re continually dying in classic difficulty of EQ, going to be honest here man you need to take a step back and figure out the game mechanics and node interactions better.

We've already had this conversation because the issue still stands. I shouldn't be dissuaded from enjoying it at all because people want everything in this game sadistically harder.

The EQ is something the vast majority of people participate in, not just the end-gamers who want more and more challenge. There comes a point where you suck the drive out of it because it's overtuned. It should be moderately challenging but not an absolute slog of a chore each month.
