So I get @Kabam (Osaurus) Rex is now in the middle of writing a response and the team are trying to fix the game. But at the beginning there was nothing, we didn’t know what was happening or that the intention was to roll back they ways to purchase raids tickets. DNA hadn’t posted by this time either. So in order to enter raids, I purchased the 60 missing raids tickets using essentia. Then boom, 20 minutes later the store is changed and I didn’t need to waste my essentia and could have used my old currencies instead.

All we needed was a 5 minute post from someone at Kabam. A banner post on the forum “We are currently reviewing feedback related to the Essentia store and will be implementing some rapid in game changes expected to go live in the next hours. Larger update to follow”

Something like that, a quick official message. But we get don’t get anything and all that does is allow the community to boil over and get hotter and hotter because Kabam looks incompetent. These changes should never have been allowed to go live. If no one foresaw the issues then Kabam should seriously start doing consultations with the player base before any changes so we can avoid all of the unintended consequences which are absolutely avoidable. Any half decent player could have given you the list of issues beforehand. So either Kabam is trying to push through a **** product and expect us to like it, or are incompetent/negligible and don’t know there own game.

Maybe he is crashing out, but he isn't wrong.

Pretty standard OP - they release something with a few good ideas but a serious monkey's paw, get tons of negative feedback (and rightfully so), and then they skew it to our advantage plus add in some compensation. My money says this is fixed by next Monday. But make no mistake - this was no bug😎

Our Currencies that we've already earned are now stuck in behind a weekly trade in limit, so have all instantly devalued.

They are preparing another typical "we are sorry" post and that we should be thankful for their new buffed changes on the store.

Oh let's not forget they are listening to our feedback and they will test more lol

Removing the stores with no overlap was a huge mistake. Having a cap on the conversion amount was a terrible decision. Doesn't look like anyone thought this through.

Where was our guidance from Kabam? They could have said that "it will be difficult to convert so spend while you can", and the community could have been spared this disaster.

This is a lack of life experience.

Where am I going with this? People who lived in a 3rd world country that had currencies change know the correct process. You tell them on a certain day your money will no longer have value unless you change to the new one. Past that day you are out of luck.

Just change it back, scrap Essentia, after all its obvious not much time and thought was put in it. Whoever designed it and thought of it should be fired or at least take a pay cut for the rest of the year. The way it was handled is idiotic

Yeah if this was by design, to quote a certain British man, “Are you having a laugh mate?” And if this was accidental, then Kabam yet again is demonstrating complete incompetence at not understanding their community and how this will impact the economy of the game
