Re: Shame on you Kabam
so the community has to get huge uproar
for kabam to do something
that’s the ONLY way we can make change lol.
What a bone headed decision,
told yall after that whole fake summoners appreciation/fest or whatevr
they continue to disappoint us
Re: Extended compensation
There’s been better ideas all over the forums. Two off the top of my head:
Players affected get 1:1 comp with the correct crystal. Those who weren’t get 1:1 comp with the bugged crystal. This takes into account all sigs, titan shards, etc disparity missing now,
The other option, everyone gets a selector for one of the new champs. Beyond that, those that were affected get a selector for each 10 they opened. Problem solved
Re: BASE POOL CRYSTAL COMPENSATION - A SUGGESTION FOR A BETTER FIX
I welcome this idea but it's pretty bad for the game economy. Plus, why should we get comp because someone else got comp?
Basic compensation should be equivalent to ZOLA Titan compensation
Nothing less
This is game breaking compensation
Re: Extended compensation
if 7 star crystals are so inconsequential that they can be redistributed to a significant number of summoners without changing the game balance, then they should be sent to all in an extended window.
if extending the window and redistributing 7 stars would mess with the game balance, then double free 7 stars are too consequential for a subset of players.
Pick your poison, but you can’t have it both ways and remain credible.
Re: Shame on you Kabam
I understand it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation
Either way players on both sides are gaining huge advantages or disadvantaged by any compensation
Re: No compensation will be enough, rollback is only solution
Main problem is that people are only able to see whatever affects their instant problem. Sure people didn't get new champs, they should be compensated with ways to acquire them. What about the crystals they opened and got multiple sigs for champs? People actually bought CM deals that included signature stones and awakening gems. They bought stuff that other people get to keep over a mistake made by Kabam? If they do get to keep everything plus a compensation I don't want to ever read a single comment from them talking about the health of the economy in the game cause it will all be a bunch of BS
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
Yeah this just further puts some people at an extreme advantage and others at a huge disadvantage, further separating accounts.
The Problem with The Compensation
Rather than excluding those who didn't open any crystals, why not just do a roll back to a previous time before the crystals went live and offer a global (emphasis on Universal) compensation.
Now heres the key takeaway. The current solution leaves out those who didnt open entirely which leads to FOMO, but what about the next time something like this happens? Because of the current solution, i can promise you that the next time something like this happens, players will DELIBERATELY take advantage by opening all their crystals, which is the opposite of what the intention is (waiting for the fix before opening etc)
So again, a rollback and a global compensation would make more sense.
Re: The Problem with The Compensation
”it’s pretty tit-for tat” - if 7 stars don’t matter that much, do the Zola fix and expand the window. If that’s too rich, then the initial argument is null and void. You can’t have it both ways. If you just want to pretend prestige and competitive play doesn’t matter between summoners… then that is its own sort of disingenuous response.
