Re: Can't set up AQ Raid
Has anyone tried REMOVING ALL MODIFIERS from normal day maps, and seeing if the Next Week would Save then ?I tried every way possible. I cleared all BGs, sett all to one mode, set different modes for BGs, took out mods and everything. Literally tried every way possible and kept getting the same error as well as other officers.
(or, similarly, just have a version of RAIDS set on all 3 BGs, so no normal AQ at all)
??

Re: How much monetization is too much?
I think people are annoyed because of the feeling that monetization is the only focus nowadays. Fun events? Fun quests? Cool reworks? Enjoyable content? Nah sell this, sell that. Here have a free 6* and try it out, did you like it? Well buy the 7* cause we are gating places where you can use it. Does it seem overpriced? Well we'll throw some rank up mats in form of a gem, a relic or two, some other crystal you can gamble on so we can justify the price.
Re: How much monetization is too much?
Ehhh.. they are monetizing a bit too much. I mean every re work, sell it. Every saga chase, sell, every relevant god tier sell. I think I used to spend more often when it was all an RNG gamble whether the outcome was a win or a dud. I personally feel like they figured out they can get more money for the sure thing and sell everything at a higher price.I listened. I also said I respect that you feel that way, and I'm sure others do as well.you're not really listening. You can call it what you want. I don't agree. No one is being tricked into anything. Also, I was around when the Drop Rates were posted. I don't need a lesson on that.I don’t have a particular opinion on the sales, hence my lack of comment, but this is just blatantly wrong. “Predatory” has been standard language used to describe all sort of gacha mobile game tactics designed to trick people into spending money, we’ve had literal legislation written because of it. We have drop rates on crystals because of this. Again, I make no comment on whether such language deserves to be applied here to MCOC but this feels like a ridiculous claim to make given the very real specter that hangs around similar games.Predatory is a ridiculous word for a mobile game that offers optional sales. When even the mega whales who buy everything says its becoming too aggressive and predatory, then something is obviously wrong. Just cause you either refuse or fail to see that doesn't make it any less true.Too much for who?More to the point, it's a business. There's no such thing as too much. We can still play for free if we choose. There absolutely is such thing as too much. The aggressive push for 600 dollars every 2-3 months is too much when you compare it to doing that only 2 times a year.
For people who think they must buy everything, perhaps.
For a company who is trying to keep the lights on, not at all.
No one is forcing anyone to buy these. If it's too much for us personally, we're free to pass. The fact that people are still offended with EVERY Offer this game releases almost 11 years later is crazy to me. They're a business. They're going to try and make money.
*also worth noting that there exists no such law. The Drop Rates were posted because they were required by the platforms MCOC has partnered with, and they honored that.
the game is losing some of it's magic, whether you spend $6k a year or $2k the experience is the same, nothing really matters and it feels like we're sleep-walking into the next rarity wondering what's the point. this time next year they could announce 8*s for release in summer 2027 and it feels empty. how will 8*s be any different than what they're currently doing?
The topic is about how much monetization is too much, and that's what I'm addressing. There is no such thing as too much in a game that makes it optional. For literal years, they've been saying that not all offers are for everyone. That's not just a blanket statement, that's literal. Also, monetizing less isn't going to help the game be less stale.
Now, if someone had an issue with the newest shiniest things always being too expensive, that I could see. I don't have any control over that, but I get it. What I take issue with is the idea that they're monetizing too much in general because that's just asinine. They're a business. They need to do business things. Businesses are a lot like Hollywood movies. If something has a modicum of success, they'll keep doing it until it stops working.

Bro just stop typingNope. Canadian. Which means I pay more. I'm still not personally offended they're selling things.More to the point, it's a business. There's no such thing as too much. We can still play for free if we choose. Are you by any chance an American ?

It is amount that is being constantly pushed that makes it unrealistic to even stay relevant because the gap continues to widen.
The value of an Odin has depreciated immensely considering nabbing 4 of them in the deals won’t even get you close to clearing the milestones.
…so yeah,..now it’s a lot if dollars plus a whole lot of arena grinding JUST for one measly event.
I’m personally offended you’re Canadian,.,maybe try acting like one.
Grow a pair, or elbows up and such,…and stop shining Kabams “boots”.

Re: How much monetization is too much?
Kabam is working day and night figuring out new ways to help the biggest spenders advance in BGs.
They've helped a lot, but more is needed.
Because I think that guy with 20 R4s finished in the same tier as Nick136.
I think 8 or 10 more exclusive nukes/defenders might do the trick.

Re: Blacklists should be dropped before they are being introduced
I love the blacklist idea, I'm tired of literally every single deck looking the EXACT same from gamma up. It's so infuriating that battlegrounds has become the "fight zola, enchantress, bullseye and serpent over and over and over" gamemode. I missed when I had to be prepared for a wide array of defenders, not just the hardest 6-7 in the game over and over.It will look the exact with the same exact blocked champs...

Re: What previously buffed champ should get another buff?
Storm!Storm is already great another mid champ could use a buff. She absolutely doesn't need a buff
i did a post about buffing Storm (and Phoenix) a while back but it disappeared. Storm is an omega-level mutant goddess (and now host of Eternity) and her command of the weather/atmosphere allows her to do so much more than lightning/shocks. in addition to shocks, she could be applying bleed, rupture, cold-snap, frostbite, crush, exhaustion, fatigue, concussion.
canonically, her mutant abilities automatically adjust her physiology to off-set temperature extremes so she should be immune to cold-snap & frostbite. she has one of the strongest wills in the marvel universe and the electrical activity in her brains make it extremely hard for telepaths to manipulate her (she shutdown prof x when he tried to forcibly enter her mind) so she should be immune (or at the very least highly resistant) to any debuffs that are psychic/telepathic in nature (e.g. reverse controls).

That makes sense. Thought it was something to do with charing as in burning something.
