This thread has been a big part of the banquet experience for me. A positive experience, this years event has been a great improvement. It’s interesting to see the stats back that up, the increase from last year is huge. Is there any way to tell how many accounts have been involved this year? Has the playerbase increased or decreased, or is it pretty much the same? I guess you would need some inside info for that @DNA3000 Anyways, Thanks for the great write-up as always.

This has been a thread for the ages, amazing work DNA. I’ve enjoyed this and it’s really added a lot to the banquet this year.

I’m blown away by the scores we’ve put up this year. I imagine everyone has opened everything they can from a F2P perspective, and probably about 1/3 of the points were paid for. Even still, I’ve dropped about $400 on it and it’d still need 80,000 players doing the same to reach this level of points. That’s absurd. Really, really positive signal for the life this game has left in it.

The required rate to reach milestone 63 has plummeted to about 2.7 million per hour, which sounds like a lot but that's lower than at any time during this banquet or last year's banquet. As I write this (the charts are a bit behind as I created them a little while ago) we just crossed 7.2 billion. 20 million to go. At the current slightly slower rate I'm seeing milestone 63 should now be reached sometime around 2:30am Pacific, a couple hours later than originally projected.

And here's my current best case / worst case scenario:

Worst case scenario gets us to just past milestone 63 at 7.257 billion and the best case scenario gets us right up to milestone 64 at 7.297 billion. Whatever milestone 64 is, we will at least see it. As far as I'm concerned it could be a gold crystal: my opinion of the banquet will not be changed by it whatever it is. If there is a last minute blitz in the overnight hours we have a long-shot chance at milestone 64, in which case we might see milestone 65 ten seconds before the event ends. Get your cameras ready.

I'd say good luck to us, but milestone 63 is a done deal at this point, and once again I won't be awake to see it. For those that have been following along, thanks for that. I will have a bit more to say about the event after it ends: some additional analysis regarding scoring, spending, and depending on when they come out an analysis of the rank reward cut offs. It might take some time as I still have a bunch of homework to do.
