Re: Thoughts on Rebalance Program ending?
Why do we care if we know they are in their right to do so?...
You know the **** storm that would have happened if they said she was perfectly balanced?
You know how bad CM sales would have dropped if they nerfed her?
Like i said VERY CONVENIENT, to end the program and not release the balance that was due days ago.... Not shady at all just convenient....(Sarcasm)
Re: Thoughts on Rebalance Program ending?
You know what the right thing would have been? To end the program after you review the 3 champs that were due review 2 weeks ago. Deciding to end the program days after a rebalance program was due is not ethical business wise or even right on your end.
Is it shady? Yes its very shady because its 3 champs including a pay walled defender a lot of people complained about. If shady is too strong or negative, lets call it comvenient.
How can you guys announce the end of the rebalance program after being days late on the current review due? Did you guys review them at all during this whole time?
Re: Thoughts on Rebalance Program ending?
it’s corporate communications for “we don’t know what to do but we don’t want to do this anymore”
Re: Dracula and Franken-Castle confirmed
Even prior to the Spiderwoman nerf, I was losing interest in new champion releases as the BG focused designs just leaves a bad taste. The abilities that pop up in kits are always just problems/cures to BG deckbuilding.
I have no particular affinity to Dracula or Frankencastle either, which has always been the other aspect that used to get me excited about new champions.
Re: So no more nerfs?
I'm going to back Mike up here and say this as clearly as possible. Throughout the entire history of MCoC, the game team has had the right to change any champion at any time. Before the rebalance program, we exercised this right very rarely. With the introduction of the rebalance program, we hoped we would be able to make more frequent changes to champions to help better craft the meta. Spider Woman made us realize that wasn't the case, meaning there was no reason to continue the program as it was not serving its purpose.
So now things are going back to exactly what they were before the program was initiated. If you weren't worried about us nerfing a champion before the program was introduced, you should not be worried about it moving forward. We will continue to dedicate resources to buffing champions through reworks and tune-ups, as we always have.
We are never going to promise that a champion will never be changed. Even passing the rebalance program without changes didn't guarantee a champion would never be changed in the future. But I can say that none of the champions released since Spider Woman have any changes planned. I'm personally ranking them up assuming they aren't going to be changed. That doesn't mean it's impossible they will be changed, as it has never been impossible, but it's highly unlikely. Our philosophy for nerfing champions is going back to what it was before the rebalance program, which is what Summoners wanted.
Re: Thoughts on Rebalance Program ending?
Yes, let’s all be happy we’re taking a huge step backwards in Kabam/player communication and openess.
im sure that’s going to be very healthy for the game and its remaining lifecycle.
Re: Everyone's Talking About Dark Phoenix but...
Reviewing 2 or 3 champions performance every 4 months is a lot of work?.…
Re: I know you must be overloaded Kabam, but please understand, no one feels safe using their champions.
Mike, I’m concerned this ultimately means you (Kabam) can continue releasing BS defenders like dark phoenix/Serpent without being held accountable within the community through your reviews/justifications in the balance programme communications.
this all feels like you’re choosing the easy path for yourselves over what’s best for your player base & community.

This is what you get when DLL gets put on a pedestal with no checking of his characters or design. This all started with him
