This is about a players stance of freedom to play the game at desired times. And that players feeling the freedom that is already there is being taken away or lessened. Gatekeeping the feeling of freedom on the stance of technicalities is ugly. There's nuance on this topic that's being thrown out intentionally when it's relative to a lot of things. As a non-spending Valaint player of more than 10+ yrs I have never enjoyed the game less and played as little as I do now.

The decisions made and changes implemented over the last 2 or 3 years have killed my enjoyment of the game (and judging by this forum, I'm not alone).

GW always has a little spot on his nose. The point is the game is broken @Kabam (Osaurus) Rex @Kabam Crashed and the new systems you have in place are broken. Take it to the team and fix things. The longer you let things go the worse it’s going to get. Now while you have a community coming together and you are engaged is the time to take an opportunity to do something positive. Take our feedback and make the changes that still make kabam money, but also keeps the player base happy.

As a 10 year+ player, my over riding emotion right now is just sadness.

I’m sad the game I enjoy seems to be sliding away, I’m sad the game team (who obviously care) don’t seem capable of maintaining the game, I’m sad the wider community aren’t engaged with at an acceptable level, and I’m sad I’m not able to enjoy the game I once loved.

I'm just so disappointed with 9.3. Story content is my favourite part of the game but none of those was fun, the scourge stuff sucked, the nodes disabling fun champs is never good. Mandatory relics is hypocritical and sucks. And worse still, dread emporer doom is a boring slog of a fight with too many unfair instant ko and power gain moves.
