At this point I think 90% of the new content/features in the game are designed to milk as much money from the top 10 alliances as possible.
Which makes sense I suppose, because why would anyone be in a top 10 alliance unless they were completely addicted to the prestige/power chase the game offers…
So you turn that addiction/insecurity/ego fragility into $$$$.
Coliseum Satisfaction
The arcade -style "beat your own high-score" feels like a level up from running tine-attacks against RoL WS to see how many hits/how fast you can take him down.
I like that there are actual nodes to work-around but allow for taking on the challenge with very different champions. The #tag feature incentivizes breaking away from conventional meta champs.
One of the most enjoyable aspects is how fast it is to retry. You can just pop right back into the fight without restarting a quest and moving/fighting through nodes to get to the fight.
I think that it would be neat to have an enduring coliseum with 3-6 fights curated to highlight different classes/playstyles as a replacement to the ole' RoL punching bag and a way test new champs.

Far too grindy and time-consuming. On top of that, it gets boring quickly. Doing the same fight over and over again against the same opponent… landing a few hits, dodging Adam Warlock’s SP1, and then starting all over again.
That’s only fun for the first five minutes.
I’m not into it at all.

Thanks for the mixed responses so far @BringPopcorn im in ghe sweats now..chinese was ordered last night..and Im california sober. But tomorrow its time to grind. Mtg, workouts, work, and mcoc at night.

The tags mean nothing. Onslaught could outscore any champ that met 1, 2, or all 3 tags easily on the first day when he met none of the tags. A point multiplier needs to be attached to the tags or a damage multiplier needs to be given to champs that cover the tags otherwise everyone is going to be using the same 10 - 15 champs to do this whenever it comes around

There's also quite a few skill champs that counter evade naturally in their kits.
