To this day I still dont know why he refers to @ahmynuts as a "girl". Is there some lore I don't know about or is he just a drooler for female characters and fantasizes himself as if he is actually arguing w Jubilee.
Re: Communication continues to be just abysmal
Everyone has a line where they won’t. Mine is fast approaching on this trajectory
Re: Im not one to usually make these kinds of posts.
On the one hand, side quest difficulty has always been the place to experiment with higher difficulty, trickier content, different formats, etc. I think it is perfectly fine if side quests are harder than the normal monthly quests, for example (although maybe that's not an appropriate idea for this month specifically).
But I think Kabam has always had a problem with managing difficulty in one very specific way. First of all, some people don't want difficulty at all. That's fine, but we can't always honor that expectation for all parts of the game. I think we should do so for the standard monthly quest as an option but its fine if the optional side quest is more difficult.
BUT, and I know this is not necessarily the option of everyone, I think for the vast majority of people who do enjoy difficult content in general, the enjoyment comes from learning how to beat it. Failure is fine, so long as we can try again. I said this when the Season of Suffering style stuff first arrived. A lot of people complained that content was way too difficult, but from my perspective it was both options, and more important structured so we could try repeatedly, and learn from our failures. Difficulty is not there to beat us, even though it might. It is there to be conquered. It is there for us to try to beat, and see if we can. Failure is fine - for those of us that actually want difficult content - just let me get better at it.
Easy content with only one shot at it is fine: it keeps us on our toes. Difficult content with unlimited shots at it is also fine, challenge us and let us find a way to crush it.
Difficult and one shot at it? Now you're aiming at a group of players that would have difficulty filling an average sized Denny's. Every so often this comes up, and the reaction tends to be universally bad. Because you're always going to have complaints about difficulty. But this tends to alienate the very people who would even want it in the first place. We don't want difficulty. We want difficulty we can learn to beat. Without the second part, the first part is meaningless. Either we beat it because we are just so much more powerful that the difficulty is not even there. Or we get lucky. Or we lose. All three are not what the players who want difficulty want to see.
Re: Summoners wake up. New 2 day boycott just dropped
Fix what?
How do you fix a mistake like leaving a champion out of a crystal?
How do you make a mistake of overtuning monthly content after 4 months of live testing?
Bugs you can fix, bugs come with the territory and the industry, you already know that from experience. Mistakes is a whole different issue. Compare it to a car, sure it can break anytime and you can say well "Sh"t happens", its not the same as filling it up with diesel instead of gas and having it break.
The current state is a complete lack of care and neglect, its not bugs.
I don't care about what Vega does, promotes or what his intentions are. He had a chance and folded exactly the way Kabam wanted. They gave some sparkly items for 2 BG seasons and it was all good for him.
Re: Summoners wake up. New 2 day boycott just dropped
The balance of things going good and things going bad is severely tilted to the bad side.
I agree on the communication issue, and it actually makes it worse to know we lost our community manager to organizing a live event that will be attended by what? 500 people maybe?...
Their priorities are all over the place. If it was bugs well every game has bugs; but lately its not even bugs, they are plain mistakes.

If it takes the game dying to stop your posts, I’m ready for the funeral.
Re: Kabam *surprisingly* missed the mark again this update
Increased difficulty for SQ but the rewards aren't that attractive LOL
Re: Open letter to Kabam! Don't change the compensation. Inside this thread you will see the truth!
I think your fifth thread of the week of “oh Jeeze please notice me Daddy Kabam” is not going to save the game nor is it going to kill the game.
Re: Summoners wake up. New 2 day boycott just dropped
People champion boycotts as a last-ditch effort to enact some sort of change or elicit a response. As you said (and i paraphrase), Kabam comes off as a company that doesn't give 2 sh*ts about their community and never listen to or take in any feedback. If they didn't have that reputation (that they admittedly continue to plant themselves firmly into) then the community would not feel the need to start boycotts.
Also, based on the seriousness of your post, I'm not sure if you knew that this forum post is making fun of the boycott and the video from Vega.
