I agree with the above posts, they'll do a small decrease in health and say "yay, we listened to you" I will continue to skip eq and come January I will probably quit. If they bring back CHOICE to the game, maybe I will keep playing.

Another problem is that Adaptive EQ’s reward structure scales with prestige, which feels like the antithesis of what it’s aiming for — developing a deep roster.

You need a mutant that reflects physical damage or bypasses it altogether? Go for Negasonic or Dazzler. But who has the better prestige? Onslaught.

Granted, Onslaught does some things similar to Negasonic but you’re forced to develop your roster at the expense of getting more rewards which doesn’t sound right to me.

1. You can't pay anyone to do anything for you that's against tos and will result in a ban.
2. If you read even a little bit you would know that's not the reason op got banned.

Prestige is a selling point and little more. If you notice, a lot of the low prestige champs being names here are also some of the oldest champs in the game. Over the last few years, the majority of champs that Kabam releases are higher prestige so the whales have incentive to buy them to get ahead. Prestige has far less to do with a champions value to the roster and far more to do with Kabam's desire to sell the champ, their intro bundles, and their crystals.

Where is this myth coming from that mercing for non-competitive content isn't cheating? OP seemed very confident in that claim, and so are you.

No only do the TOSs make no such specification for exception, but the rewards you gain from said content are key progression points to then use in competitive play!
